Hello guys and gals. A while back I had posted about my friend Mike, who is a Viet Nam vet who trains dogs for disabled vets. He is a 501-C3 organization, which means he works strictly on donations. He could use your help in trying for a grant.

Yep, Boomer, it is the same guy. He funds his entire kennel on his Army pension and what he can scrape up for donations....

If anyone really wanted to help out that business, they could donate their time and expertise to help them build a more attractive website. I really mean no offense, but there's a "hit counter" and the term "webmaster" on the front page. I thought Geocities finally died in 2009.

A more relevant domain name wouldn't hurt either.

QFT...in this day and age where everyone creates fly-by-nights and sticks a hand out it's going to be easy for him to be lost in the shuffle.

OP do you know HTML/web design....if so it'd be a big help to revamp that and get him up on facebook and the like.

He is on Facebook. I am not too good at HTML. I believe his son is designing some new pages for him. He does everything on a shoestring. He has about 8-10 dogs at any one time that he is training, and that costs a fortune. He truly does this from the heart....
