VOTE HERE
Sumter Regional Hospital took a direct hit from a F3 tornado on March 1, 2007. Their facilities were declared a complete loss and a temporary facility was set up with the help of FEMA and other governmental agencies to serve the needs of the community and surrounding areas. The construction of a permanent replacement facility is underway, although their fundraising efforts have not completely covered their needs at this point.
This is not a request for donations. The request I have of the Anandtech community is to vote for the hospital in a contest. The contest runs through December 31 and the winner of this contest will receive a MAGNETOM Essenza, an all-new 1.5T MRI machine. This would be a beneficial piece of equipment for a hospital that is already strapped for cash.
What can you do to help? Vote once a day per computer. That's it. The first time a computer is used to vote, the entire video must be watched before the vote button is activated. Each day of voting after that, the vote button is immediately available. All I would ask is one vote a day from however many computers (IP addresses) you choose to use. I do not want to try to find a way around the contest limitations and possibly have the hospital or all votes disqualified. The hospital is currently ahead in the contest, but I would like to see it stay there.
