I LOVE how reply and edit now open separate windows now. It makes it much eaiser to reference the entire thread while you're replying. Very nice touch.

It "fixes" what most people don't want fixed. Sorry, but PMs are useful to many people, and lots of us would PO if they were taken away. So you don't like to use them - fine. But I'm not wrong in saying that for the majority of active forum users (i.e. people who come here enough that minor changes in site design can drastically affect the usability of the system for them), PMs are very important, and thus a "fix" that removes the ability to use PMs is nothing but a worthless piece of ... junk.

jliechty guess what I can enable the PMs just fine and put them at top exactly like they were if I wanted to.

Plus I can add a drop-down forum selector as well.

Now, you're either talking out of your derriere, or you're "spoofing" by taking a saved copy of the forums as they were before and editing to taste in Frontpage. :roll:

i think they should just get rid of the my menu bar and go back to how the forums were last week. The biggest feature i miss is the drop down menu. I don't mind the anandtech header however.

This is bad. Just plain nasty.
Even after adjusting, it is still hard to see what threads you've been in.
Too much flluff and glitter, while leaving out the substance we need.

Take a look at Fat Wallet to see how a good setup (not great) should look.
Or at least go back to what you had.
This blows enough that I left the normal threads I frequent to find this thread to post my displeasure.
