Here is mine.

I suppose it's okay-ish. [I've since cleaned up the cables at the top, for the front I/O panel, a little bit].

Nice cases!

Mine is kinda lacking in the cable management dept. I seem to always have the worse luck where everything "just fits" so it leaves little to no room to do anything. It's also a bit more of a mess as I'm in the middle of troubleshooting a video issue so it's missing a video card. I had stuff tie wrapped nicely at one point.

And my current desk setup:

Don't mind the mess.

For some reason this PC seems to accumulate dust much faster than my last one. I need to start working on my new desk so I can have room to put it on top, but it's been too hot out to do anything, especially given the garage gets even hotter.

Just moved all my stuff out of my Antec Lanboy Air into a Corsair Obsidian 800D. I shouldn't have ever bothered with that case in the first place. Too dusty. Too small. Kept things nice and cool, but I got sick of it.

Loving this 800D. Still need to get some 120mm fans pushing air out the top though. Ordering those this week. I've seen plenty of pictures, but I simply cannot believe how clean these things look with minimal cable management effort. 5 HDDs and one SSD packed inside this thing, and you can't even tell.

The insides, just got BitFenix cable extensions.

Cable management in the back. Took about 2.5 hrs to do. Back shuts much better now. No bulge what so ever which I was very excited about.

Case is lit up with white led strips with the side with window on.
Camera picks the coloring up odd.

NZXT switch 810 white case
I7 3770k @ 4.5 Ghz (Can stable at 4.8 but Ivy Bridge is so heat sensitive)
Corsair H100 CPU cooler
Sp120 & AF120 Corsair fans
24 GB Corsair Dominator RAM 1600 MHz
Asus P8Z77-Pro Motherboard
Gigabyte GTX670 Windforce Ed.
Rosewill Modular 1k Watt PSU
LG Blue Ray DVD writer
Crucial 128GB MLC Sata III SSD
Western Digital 2TB black edition HDD
Corsair K90 keyboard
Corsair M60 mouse
Razor naga Black mouse
2x Asus VE228H 21.5 LED monitors

So let me know what you think. First computer build so might be a bit rough around the edges. Comments and suggestions welcome. I love blowing money on useless aesthetic improvements haha!

New build - H100 Vertical Mount
Just finished up a new build. Many years since doing this for myself. I will be adding, tweaking and yes modding. Already Case hunting. Thinking of a vertical mb case style. Need to turn this on first, haha.

- Rosewill BLACKHAWK-ULTRA Super Tower - Semi modded
- i5-3570K
- ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155
- Sapphire 7970 Toxic
- SeaSonic X-SERIES X-1050
- Corsair Force Series GT 120GB SATA III
- G.SKILL Trident X Series (2 x 8GB) DDR3 2400
- Corsair H100 (HDD Cage Mounted)
- Cougar CF-V12HP 12CM x4 p/p for H100
- NZXT 14 cm Orange x2 front intake
- Cougar 14CM rear exhaust
- Bitfenix Spectre Pro 230mm x2 top exhaust
- Bitfenix extension cables - must do all the PSU/Case cables myself to make it cleaner.

Please let me know if I did the image link incorrectly. I have had all the items except the 7970 Toxic in my closet since June. Finally gave up and purchased the Toxic card.

Sincerely,

Pismo

Damn, How does everyone get such a clean look in their cases? One could almost be fooled and believe there are no cables. My cables almost always show.

Patience, tenacity, and a touch of OCD.

Well, On my R4 Cable Management redux:

First, I tried to route the entire 24 pin ATX behind the back:

Looks good, however due to the Sata and Power cables going to my backpanel SSD I was unable to close the backpanel in this configuration.

Second, this is my compromise: don't look as good but at least I can close the backpanel and the cable isn't obstructing airflow.

Looks alright? If I didn't remove my HDD cages I would have been able to hide the cables a little better but since I going for max airflow that's less of a priority.

Very, very carefully. Took me almost 2 hours to get mine where it is today & it's still doesn't meet my personal "perfect" status.

I went about 4 different rounds with cable management, and for the most part, came up a bit short 3 out of 4. This was over a period of about 4 years. You have to visualize the end result & you need the right cables & accessories to make that happen. For me, it wasn't until both of those things came together that I was able to produce a finished product that I like.

Been meaning to post up pics, but just been too damn busy lately.

I just modified my antec 300.
Sorry, I didn't take pictures of the early fabricating or before pics
welding, grinding, cutting, bondo, etc. were all involved.
The hard drives now come out the side instead of towards the mb.
I fabricated a new front, new paint, and easily removeable dust filter

I thought I would throw a few pics into this thread. I just replaced my Antec Nine Hundred with a Define R4 w/Window in Arctic White. Looks great, very classy AND quiet. Rig is in my sig. This was my first "modern" case with real cable management. What a pleasure it was to build and it looks very clean. Very happy with this one!
