Before I sign up, can someone tell me how this works so that nobody is finding out where other people live in stuff?



If that's the case, I will use my grandmothers address.

We use addresses. If you wanna do it by PO box thats fine. But if some dude gives you his home address, well, you got his address.

I delete my instruction email when I know the guy got it, either by UPS tracking or certified mail.
In fact I dont even remember the names of dudes from previous years.

The thing is just to make it fun. Don't just send a gift card, send something that they'll be surprised opening, even if it's a bunch of goofy stuff from the dollar store. Go stalk their post history and see what they're into, and send them something at least semi-relevant. It doesn't have to be anything expensive ($20 minimum), just make it fun!

Yeah, nothing is more disappointing than expecting something fun and opening it up to see a gift card It's like the ultimate zero-effort gift

I think gift cards have their place. Like, my wife never knows what to get me electronic-wise for my birthday or Christmas, so a gift card to Best Buy or something is great because then I can pick something out. But for a Secret Santa, you want to do something fun. Last year I did a Zombie Survival Kit with all kinds of random stuff in it, it was fun picking everything out & then watching the gift post thread to see it.
