As thilanliyan said, get one of the Nissan GT-R's, they are the easiest to drive and still very fast. He or I will gladly help you with setting up the car. If you need a car and don't have the money to buy one from the Nissan dealership, let me know and I can gift you a car.

Dont worry about being new! Ollie and I pretty much bring up the rear so more competition for us is nice! Just get a car from Boshuter or Thilian and ask them for tune settings and youll have a car you can at least hope on the track and do well in. As for the actual race, just have fun. I would go to gtplanet (or find the gt300 series thread on here) and theres a list of "rules" to race by. i'd at least look em over to make sure you understand clean racing. We arent strict like gt planet but we do want it clean and fun.

As for joining, i usually make a room about an hour before the race. Ill post it here. (you can add me on psn if you want, only time im online is for raceday pretty much). Then at ~8CST (6PST) i start the race. I try to give a minute minute warning and i do go by my clock thats below the tv as my ps3's time is fubar'd. So it might be 6:05 or something in reality but its 6 for me

Guys... hopefully we will have a better turnout tomorrow than we did last week :whiste:

We are going to skip Grand Valley and go ahead and run Monza. We will run 25 laps. Like we did in the GT300 series, we will consider any hard surface as a part of the track, so cutting chicanes will not be a penalty. I think this is the best way to go, trying to police it is almost impossible and as long as everyone has the same rules, no one will have an advantage.

Hope to see a lot of you on track tomorrow night, including a couple of new additions.

I'm hoping we are not seeing a trend to less turnout due to the weather getting better. We may have to try something a little more casual than a regular race series if the turnout doesn't improve...... if anyone has any thoughts or ideas about this..... post away :thumbsup:

That's fine with me... later in the night would be my preference. As it is now it's still light out and with the nice weather I just don't get inside as early as usual.

BTW: I'm not even sure I'm going to make it tonight, got a slight emergency here and not sure what time I'll make it home.

Well i know over in the Forza 3 race night, those guys just pick an "event" each week. Say only allows Ford Focus's or the such. And change it up each week. Could try to do that since it would be a bit more casual. Although people like me who dont have tons of cars might need some help

Later times might help, but would have to get a group consensus. For me race time is 6pm so something more like 7 would be fine. Much later than that and well not totally sure but probably would still be there.

Im more of a winter person personally But i enjoy skiing so the summer doesnt really allow that so its more day hikes and the such.

As for this weeks race, not looking to good. Guess wait and see when its a bit closer to race week but if there doesnt seem to be much interest ill probably just go do some other things

Well I'll be able to make it if anyone shows up. The timing belt broke on our Honda Civic and I had to change it, just got it finished about a half hour ago.

It does seem like everyone just dissapeared when the weather started getting better. I'm up for any night, to me, the later the better.

I don't mind a casual race night with different cars if that's what everyone wants to do. I personally just enjoy the race cars over the street cars.

It doesn't look good, I think you, me, and lofCorn are the only ones that were able to make it tonight.

Not sure why, but the turnout the last couple of weeks has not been good. :\

We may have to go a different route, change times, format, or something to keep this going. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. I really don't want to have to go back to GT Planet to find a weekly racing series to run :|
