Anandtech's AMD Fury X review

The click you hear is mid recording. The gain does not change mid recording.

But it change between the clicks made at 11s/14s and the click we can hear in the background at 22s, curiously when they "measure" the Gforce noise, why such a low gain..??.

Also the clicks at 14s/17s are dull compared to the previous one, all this point to these people inability to do professional sound capture in constant conditions..

And ultimately, the ocked Gforce is more noisy than the rest, there s considerable low frequency noise that sound like a jet engine, but of course this is not relevant.

Yet my speakers are only 8", the case has no more volume (read baffle size..) than a PC case, how lucky that it s done in open air...

That said why not ask someone who has the same card.???..

He's been sick for several days. Though, I can see one of two things to me. He's either incredibly sick to not be able to pump out a review for over a week, or there's something else up. I've had times I've been pushing around power carts and swapping avionics boxes between trips to the bathroom to piss out my ass so a bomber can go drop concrete filled bombs on an imaginary target. I think pumping out a review could happen by now.

If it really is that he's been sick, and it's really that bad, take nothing I said to heart. I really hope you get better, Ryan. Your GPU reviews are easily my favorites on the whole of the current internet.

Ryan has had several obesity related medical emergencies over the last few years, hoping he pulls through like the other times and continues the reviews we love.

If Coolermaster told them? Even if that did happen, don't you think it should have been checked first hand by AMD QC before being sent out to be reviewed by the world?
And as far as batches go, PCper was cited as saying the two retail FuryXs they purchased were even worse than the press samples. What are the chances of them buying two retail cards that were in the same batch as the press samples? And if it's not from the same batch, that means there are other batches out there that can be worse, or better.

So, yes, it is possible that some batches of cards had issues, and those were shipped off to lots of different OEMs.
Tell PCper to open their fury's and see what the pump is.

I wonder if the issue isn't because the PC is now so quiet without a loud blower or the air flow of open air cards, people notice the low humm of water pumps?

Every single AIO pump I've owned, sounds like the above when the room is silent, you do hear the low buzz, but its way quieter than an actual air cooler.

If these bother you, RMA it. If they refuse your RMA due to noise issues, then you have a major problem.

The noise audio comparison is ridiculously bad for the 980Ti blower. Inside a closed case, pump noise is minimized, but you can't stop the sound of rushing air squeezing through a small vent at the back.

Speculation does nothing here, except to contribute to the aforementioned forum whine.

There will be nothing of the sort, their aganda is obviously not to help the consumer selecting a product or AMD improving their gear, otherwise they would have dismounted the cards and checked for eventual differences...

Besides i dont think that they have the means to buy two cards for what is a non issue overall...

Hopefully they learnt and won't enable these shills with Fury and Nano. They seem rich enough to go and buy multiple retail samples so they will be fine.
