i thought old school was lame, so i'll pass on this one. i think will ferrell is great in small doses (zoolander), but he can't carry a movie by himself.

i thought old school was not funny. However ELF was HILARIOUS and I loved that movie! I have seen it twice since it was released. I am going to see anchorman soon too.

I liked it. I think Christina Applegate did a great job. Im taking her slightly more serious now. Will has god afful teeth though. In the close ups it is uber gross.

Funny, I thought she was completely unfunny and even miscast.

This movie just didn't appeal to me, and within twenty minutes I was itching to leave. I did, however, enjoy both Elf and Old School.

Most of the stuff in the trailer was NOT in the movie. He didnt walk into a filing cabinet, you didnt see him dancing in his underwear. When he asks Chris Parnell how he is doing and he blows him off wasnt in the movie either. I liked the movie. Wasnt the funniest but had memorable repeatable lines.

My girlfriend and I were going to go see it Friday. We were standing in line and people were coming out of the previous showing talking about how bad it sucked. Ended up seeing Spiderman 2 instead, which also sucked. Oh well.

The movie was made quite a while ago, and axed by the studios. They decided to capitalize on Will Ferrel's recent popularity and release it to the theatres. I read an interview saying that Will improvised a lot of the funny bits in the movie.

I just got back too .. it was by far one of the most awesomely terrible films I've ever seen. HORRIBLE movie, but very awesome at the same time. Not something I'd ever buy on DVD, but very entertaining once or twice.

on a side note, i saw "dodgeball" yesterday, in which the ben stiller charector is really funny.

Ben Stiller is the worst character actor EVER.

He's not a bad actor and he's definitely funny, but he needs to stay away from doing this weird character thing he's been doing.

He's funnier when he's just Ben Stiller.

i kinda liked his over the top acting in dodgeball, what other move was he a weird charector?, i havent seen much of his other stuff recently

WTF I swear some of you people are DEVOID of humor. You must be walking flesh bags. Adam Sandler, Will Ferrel and Ben Stiller are all funny comedians. I'd say Adam Sandler is the best out of the 3 for consistant comedy.

Old School was an awesome movie too.
