My local wine store has a phenomenal selection of beer. More than any other place I've found in virginia.
Just got into Minneapolis, picked up 3 four-packs tonight: Toppling Goliath Pseudo Sue, Surly Todd the Axe Man, Surly Abrasive.
Going to drink half of it while I'm here and the other half will go home with me for my usual beer tasting friends. Oddly enough, Pseudo Sue trades pretty well around Detroit but the lady at the store said that TG doesn't sell well in general here. Good news for me, I suppose.
Yep, after having grabbed a six of the porter this weekend, I concur. The stout is great, the porter is serviceable.Black Butte Porter isn't bad, but I think the Obsidian Stout is great
Anchor Porter is one of my favorites although I've not had it in a really long time. I should pick some up soon.
A couple of these were purchased a few days ago, but most I bought today
I hate you
Ummm, no one's wondering about the BCBS? Everything else in there is readily available or close to it. How is it that you have a store that even still has BCBS for sale?

Oh man those reviews are so pretentious. I'm sure it's a decent beer but I'll be damned if those reviews don't remind me of what would happen if I asked ATOT how to cook a steak.

Because of the IN-Bev affect. There is a fair amount of disdain for inbev from longtime lovers of GI. An acquaintance of mine in NY took some pics of places - 3 or 4 I cant remember - with cases upon cases of BCBS sitting around without a purchaser in site. There are to many great brews out there to be wasting money on inbev products.
