If you have a high res monitor like the Dell 2001FP and want to play your games at 1600x1200 or more with AA/AF and all the effects, you will run into many slowdowns which would hurt your gaming experience.

See the results below for FEAR @1600x1200 2xAA/8xAF:

It's only average 22 fps for the X1800XL, which is unplayable for most people. I even feel the game is annoyingly slow on my overclocked 7800GTX at the same resolution and I have to turn down many visual options and the AA.

You can't max out F.E.A.R on a 256MB GTX, you can't max out BF2 on a 256MB GTX, COD 2, there are a few. I own the former two games with a 256MB GTX and can't max them out at 1680x1050.

Don't go around calling people names and being a consumate jackass because you don't see the point in getting a $600+ video card.
