So if your mother died and your next door neighbor made a joke you'd laugh? If you would, something's wrong with you. I'm not magically able to laugh at a joke about a person dying simply because I don't know them. if they were a family member I would be in jail for beating the shit out of whoever told it. Why should it be any different if the person's a stranger? I was raised to never speak ill on a deceased person. And a "joke" is ill speaking. People do prefer their funerals to be upbeat, but I can't think of anyone I personally know who would want anyone at the funeral cracking tasteless puns about them. There's a huge difference between smile at a funeral and being an insensitive dick.
And if somebodies family member passes on here, if I cracked a funny I would get banned in 2 seconds. That should tell you it's not okay, and shouldn't be any different just because the persons a stranger.
Ya dawg, fo realz. Straight up gangsta.
You best watch it, it looks like he's within driving distance to come to your water cooler and deliver some e-thugary.

What's the difference between an astronaut and Michael Jackson? One walks on the moon and the other one just died of cardiac arrest.
I'll be here all week.
This brought much joy and laughter to everyone at my office.
