This looks like a great deal at the moment, for Kingmax PC150 RAM.

If you check Pricewatch, the nearest price is $120, 30 bucks more!

I have the 128meg version of this memory, and yes, it is low profile. Also, I HAVE run it at the most aggressive settings on my KT7A at 150 mhz, and it worked fine, although I only run it at 143 Mhz at the moment (my Athlon can't keep up!).

Oh, and to the person who posted that it was only $7 cheaper than the nearest competitor, that $97 price was for a stick of PC133, not PC150.

Did anyone call? Is this REALLY the Kingmax? Because the Kingmax pieces are P150 3-3-2 and 6.6ns, not 2-2-2 6.0ns. Yeah, I guess you could try to push it to 2-2-2, but I think these guys are probably already pushed pretty tight at 3-3-2 @150.

I think some of the crucial people got to 150 cas3. Just remember that if these are Kingmax, it is only guaranteed (I assume there is a guarantee on this) for 150 @ Cas3.

I ordered an Athlon 1.2 and a 1.0 from UpgradePlanet about 3 weeks ago. Both chips were in stock and a bot mail the same day stated that they would ship soon but they didn't actually get around to shipping the chips for almost a full week. UPS Ground shipping cost was $11.39 on the $460 order. Both CPUs arrived in good condition but both had locked multipliers (very rare for a 1.2).
Anyway, deal looks dead to me. The price has been jacked up 30% and there is no description of the memory at all - could be memory for printers or digital cameras or something for all I know. They only describe it as 6ns, bullsht to me unless there is a brand name standing behind it.

I placed my order about 11 am EST after calling to confirm "Kingmax Tiny BGA PC150 ram".

Planet said this is the only PC150 they sell.

I've been meaning to do this as my Tbird 1ghz (running 1.4ghz - 10x136/34 +4, KT7A with PC 133) is memory impaired. I can only get up to about 615 on the SiSoft Mem bench.

Let's see; 9.0x162......or 9.5x155 or so....

gonzalaz, you need to go back to pricewatch and open yer eyes. There are lots of places selling this ram for $100 and under. You say the cheapest after upgrade planet is $30 more? You must be looking at a different pricewatch maybe? The cheapest is upgrade planet, then next price up is $7 more...
