Bill Maher will no doubt have a lot to say on this on his show tomorrow night.
Breitbart didn't, but I' sure you won't let that deter your defense of one of the members of your team... He didn't believe in that at all. What did he believe in, anyway?
I think he believed that there's a sucker born every minute- more frequently today because of increased population size, and that if he didn't make money exploiting them, somebody else would. That's apparently all the moral justification he ever needed. He had a nice little racket going... not to match El Rushbo, of course, but it wasn't for lack of effort.
Because she didn't do this...
Uhm, Breitbart posted only a PARTIAL clip that made her look like a racist without any epiphany. Are you dense?
The irony of your comment is super-duper rich:

Kennedy was a man who "stood up for his beliefs;" did I miss your post where you reprimanded Brietbart for his scurrilous attack on Kennedy so soon after his death?
Note that it would be extremely easy to cave and play nicey-nicey about Breitbart. But those now denigrating him so soon after his death are made of sterner stuff than that. How come you want to REPRIMAND them rather then PRAISE them for "standing up" for their OWN beliefs?
Or does your principle about "standing up" apply only when the person doing the standing up was a right-wing asshole?
Quote:
Breitbart published a "clip" in which she admitted she had prejudice intent but thought better of it and did the right thing. She was not destroyed.
this, you are pulling the wool over your own eyes. He simply published a "clip," and thought better of it?
Read what I said and Not What you thought I said. A clip in which she (Shirley Sharrod) admitted she had prejudice intent but thought better of it and did the right thing.
You are confusing him, perhaps, with someone like O'Reilly, who manages to own up to his errors from time to time.
Not Brietbart. He was full on scum, and never strove to be anything more than filthy scum.
Who are you referring to?
Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse both killed themselves with drugs and booze.
You guys probably think its OK to screw a dog too.
I didn't say Breitbart was correct in saying what he did as soon as Kennedy was dead ( he also said it when he was alive ). I just don't agree with beating up on a dead man/woman. A lot of those doing the beatings are the very ones that get indignant over a raw comment about Amy Winehouse when she killed herself with drugs and booze.
Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston were not malicious, hateful people. They may have led lifestyles you don't approve of, but they never hurt anyone.

You completely missed the point, completely.
It is about showing respect to the dead. If you cannot say anything nice you shouldn't say anything.

Hate is an ugly thing. Irony abounds.
As you may have noticed, hate, like racism, is apparently okay as long as its directed at the right targets.
