Android launcher without app drawer?

Maybe it's because my roots are in iOS, but I personally find app management on android a little annoying - it's less clicks and swipes for me if apps were just laid out alphabetically, without me having to search the desktop and then the appdrawer (because I don't memorize app location, I know some people do).

I've tried espier hub home and like it but it's too clone-iOS looking.. It also crashes constantly on my nexus 7 (works fine on my galaxy nexus). Any other suggestions?

Uh, they are laid out alphabetically, unlike iOS which I believe does it by install order?

I think some older versions of touchwiz didn't have sort by alphabetical? correct me if I'm wrong.

lol just turn on the auto add widget option in Google Play and it adds everything to desktop. I actually thought that's a lame iOS-like feature when it first came out and disabled it immediately. Then go ahead and add back the stock apps that aren't already added.

Gingerbread Touchwiz had the apps in order of install, but in ICS it's configurable, I think. I don't use it, I've always used another launcher.

iOS just dumps apps on your screen in the order they are installed. There is no organization at all, unless the user takes it upon themselves to move icons around an manage it manually.

The Android app drawer usually lets you sort your icons. Seems so much easier the iOS already. I'm confused what the issue is.
