He did say he already factory defaulted.

I suspect he has an app that wasn't updated _properly_ for Lollipop and after he reinstalled it, the app is draining the battery. What does the battery screen say is using the battery?

I'd have to agree with this. Restoring a app installed in KK to a LP rom using saying Titanium can wreak havoc. I've read of nightmare after nightmare of people restoring apps from KK to LP and major issues.

Prior to trying to revert back to Kitkat, try clearing cache partition on your phone (http://www.mobiany.com/how-to-wipe-t...-on-lg-g2.html).

If that doesn't work, turn off back and restore apps and then factory reset the phone. Reinstall your apps manually from the playstore.

I will keep a very close eye on the apps/battery use. Thank you all for the good answers.

Gave up on Lollipop. Bit the bullet and flashed my G2 back to 4.2.2

So many little things that they changed in 5.0 for no reason!

The clock on the wakeup screen is a lot smaller.

No text/email/missed call notifications can be seen unless you actually swipe unlock the phone.

The four playstation buttons at the bottom are idiotic, I'm sorry. and the square shows recent apps... are these still running in memory? So now I have to do that OCD shit where I clear it out 10 times a day?

I know ymmv, but Lollipop on my G2 just destroyed my battery. We all know how good the G2's battery is... I was charging once every two days on kitkat, on lollipop its frequently twice in a day. Unbelievable.

There was an edit function for a picture gallery app I had called 'photo studio'. I loved that thing. In lollipop its gone. Erased.... from existence.

Alright thats enough. Bottom line is I'm back on Kitkat and I love my phone again.

Yes, but this is the same as how it worked in Kit Kat. On the G2 with Kit Kat i believe you can access the recent menu by long pressing the home button.

whoop! you are totally right. chitwood derp.

Well, at least I know that with 15+ apps in there, it has no effect on the battery. And that's all that matters.

Lollipop now available for the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1". :awe:
Didn't install. I'll do some research and find out if there are problems.

Sony Xperia Z3 finally got the Android 5.0 update yesterday (on T-Mobile). Took long enough. My Z3 is now running version 5.0.2

do you like it? Changes good or bad?
Still getting used to it. I do like the new notifications and the lock screen notifications, and the quiet hours mode now built in, but the quick settings options in the drawer are fewer and feel messier than they were in 4.4
