Android Phone Dock / Charger / Speaker (BlueTooth)

The charger that came with my Moto G4 Plus is woefully short.

After rummaging through the reviews it appears getting a dock for an Android phone that will charge the device and offer Bluetooth stereo speakers is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Any personal experience or recommendations--or models to avoid? Here are the most promising leads I found under $40

Still looking... I have found a couple devices that look solid for their price range.

One is the iLive BT Speaker System ($35 at Walmart, $48 at Amazon, 3.7 stars). The speakers sound only adequate and while it can charge 2 devices and both prop on the stand it doesn't have a fast charge.

The other is the BEDDI Smart Alarm ($99 at Amazon, 4.0 stars). It doubles as a clock (with sunrise simulation) and does have a smart charger and better speakers.

As we are canceling our land line so my wife can move mobile as well I am debating... I know the iLive can dock multiple devices but I don't know if the BEDDI can have 2 phones sit in the cradle crack. While it costs more getting fast charging plus quality speakers is a big plus.

I think the problem is that your request is kind of an odd one. These days you don't have to hardwire your cellphone to the clock to be connected to the phone, it's all bluetooth. Because of that, you don't need to have a "dock" since the phone can be charging anywhere in the room and the clock will work the same regardless.

Look at that. The only difference in functionality that I can see is it doesn't have a physical slot to hold your phone. So what? Plug it in and set it next to the clock.
