This might be a cautionary tale in getting what you pay for.
I wanted a cheap, do it all, Android TV box.
I ended up with Livebox HK1 Max (4GB Ram, 64GB Flash).
Quality is iffy, it runs VERY hot, and I suspect, I was a sent a returned unit (Netflix denied me a free month because the Mac Address was already in their database).
The real huge pain, is that Smartphone Netflix was installed and side-loaded Android TV Netflix doesn't work.
Smartphone Netflix simply does NOT work with the supplied remote. Netflix may be partially to blame here because it appears they are blocking Netflix installation on these cheap Android boxes, so they are limited to sideloaded versions that may or may not work.
Anyone have experience getting these cheap Android boxes working better with Netflix?
