Angry Birds... I don't get it.

I must be out of the loop, I haven't played this game yet (I don't own a smartphone though). The last "casual" game I was addicted to was Plants vs. Zombies, and I'm actually still addicted to it, but Angry Birds I've only heard about. I'll perhaps give it a go.

I love it. It is very easy to play, but very challenging if you want 3 stars on all levels.

I've beat Angry Birds and Angry Birds Halloween -- three stars on all levels (even with the new Ham 'em High update).

But the Angry Birds Seasons (with the Christmas levels) is kicking my ass. I can't get three stars in all levels no matter how hard I try.

I couldn't get into Angry Birds. I just disliked the fact that I couldn't easily see the pigs and my birds at the same time. Before someone chimes in, note the "easily"... yes, you can zoom out, but it's all itty-bitty and not terribly easy to aim (at least for me).

Personally, I prefer Cut the Rope, but last I checked, that's only available on iOS.

It wasn't fun until I finished the first world, then went back and started getting 3 stars. After that, I wouldn't move on to a new level until I had 3-starred the current level.

This game causes constipation (excuse for spending 5hrs in the bathroom).

Also, there's strategy when you have different types of birds that do different things, but you're forced to use them in a specific order. By targeting things differently, you might be left with extra birds at the end (sometimes required to have enough points for 3 stars).

Has OP unlocked the boomerang birds yet?

It's aight. It's more targeted toward people who have never played a video game in their life (like my Aunt and Uncle)

They are making crazy money off angry birds. Now full advertisements play before you can even play the damn game and then more advertisements in the corner, sometimes blocking things you need to see. It's like the game is infected with adware.

I wonder if there's a way to DL a no-ad version somewhere? Haxxored? I had to install appbrain just to play it and it wants to take over my whole phone. It just updates whenever it wants and you can't stop it.

I just 3-starred every level. The only thing I've seen that was close to an ad is the video explaining the Mighty Eagle feature.

The star system for each level seems totally random. Sometimes I'll barely get it with my last bird and still get 3 stars, other times I'll have one or two leftover birds and still get 1 star. 3-starring all the levels is basically impossible. A lot of them are pretty difficult just to pass at all, much less get three stars.

Also, it would probably be much better on an iPad. It's too hard to see on my 4" phone screen.

I prefer word games since they're not as squintacular.

I don't get it either. There's plenty of other games with the same mechanic and they didn't get popular... I don't see why this got so popular. Maybe because Angry Birds is a bit harder? I don't know. I have and played a decent chunk but I just don't see why it's so big.

3 starring has solely to do w/your total score.

it is very easy to blow everything up w/1 bird and have 2 extra birds left, but that extra 20k would be less than if you tried to destroy everything using all 3 birds.
