Just finished watching it myself. #2 was absolutely epic. The developer had a total meltdown. He probably put more effort into trying to smear reviewers than he put into that game. Incredibly childish and unprofessional on their part. Good luck getting hired by any studio after that.

2014 will go down as the year of broken and disappointing games. Quite a drop after an amazing 2013. At least Nintendo had some really awesome stuff.

Watched the Slaughtering Grounds meltdown with Jim Sterling, thought it was hilarious. :/

Dungeon Keeper Mobile should be higher though, broken games aside, DKM represents everything wrong with mobile gaming.

I have a hard time listening to Angry Joe because of how abrasive he is. I don't really agree with his list either; I mean, from what I've seen of Duck Dynasty, it just looks like another run-of-the-mill licensed Activision title. Stupid, yes, but probably not "worst game of the year" material.

If you're wondering why AC:U, Watch Dogs, Halo: MCC, or any of 2014's totally broken titles weren't on the list, those will likely show up on the Biggest Disappointments of 2014 list. With a game like Slaughtering Grounds, no one really expects it to rival a AAA title with a 500 million dollar budget. Expectations and bars are set so low that you'd have to be borderline retarded not to make them.

There were so many they should have done a top 20 or even a top 30, 40 or 50...

Was going to post the same thing, since RPG is my favorite genre, 2014 was probably the best year for games for me since like 2000. To your list I would add "South Park: Stick of Truth", "Lords of Xulima", "Might and Magix X: Legacy" and "Blackguards", plus a great RPG brought from PS3 "Valkyria Chronicles". It really was a golden year for RPGs.

Angry Joe is funny and some of the stuff is so true.His COD AW review is as true as anything can be.I experience the game mode issues carrying right over to BO2.Only TDM and rarely some Kill Confirm pops up but i tell you its a wait lol.

As for the list,damn i guess i was lucky to not have played those.None appeal even if given to me for free with $5 on the side seriously.Most of the list looks like old LJN NES games,fun but not to be taken to seriously like the BlockBuster games.

Risen 3 has a pretty big following, it's just one of those games where the gameplay isn't for everyone.

I got it when it first come out on Early access , just about completed it but it got ridiculously hard so I just gave up.

Yep, I like Joe. He calls a spade a spade. Certainly more honest than IGN, who gave AC Unity the same score as the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes. Sometimes his shtick gets a bit old but he seems like a good guy.

He's also been pretty prominent in exposing certain publishers' abuse of DMCA to suppress negative publicity on YouTube.

Certainly wasn't all bad of course. Quite a few really solid indie games came out last year. It was also a fantastic year for Wii U owners with Smash, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, and Mario Kart 8. It's just unfortunate that there were some pretty huge bombs that overshadowed them.

I haven't played it yet, but people in RPGWatch seem to love it. It's next in my queue after I finish Lords of Xulima.

Joe is abrasive, but I love him anyways. His skits are sometimes legitimately funny, and it's always fun to see someone rant about something you hate or rave about something you like. His reviews can be pretty helpful and informative, too.

Thankfully I have not played most of the games on his list. I tried Deus Ex The Fall on my phone, didn't play more than a half hour.
