The people in the opening post show a lack of tolerance to differencing opinions, which is a liberal trait.
Conservative meat eater - you are a vegan? Good for you, not that I would want to be one.
Liberal vegan - <screeching> you murderer, how dare you eat those dead animals. </screeching>
It is a matter of respect for opposing opinions. ...
You aren't helping your case. Consider:
Abortion protestors show a lack of tolerance to differencing [sic] opinions, which is a conservative trait.
Pro-choice liberal - you support abortion? Good for you, that's not my choice but I respect your right to make your own choices.
Anti-abortion conservative - <screeching> you murderer, how dare you kill that fetus that I insist is a baby! I'm going to kill you and your doctor! </screeching>
- or -
Homophobes show a lack of tolerance to differencing [sic] opinions, which is a conservative trait.
Tolerant liberal - you support gay marriage? Good for you, that's not my choice but I respect your right to make your own choices.
Homophobic conservative - <screeching> you pervert, how dare you destroy marriage. You should be arrested, not married. </screeching>
- or -
Religious zealots show a lack of tolerance to differencing [sic] opinions, which is a conservative trait.
Liberal Christian - you don't believe the Bible must be taken literally? Good for you, I disagree but respect your right to make your own choices.
Conservative Christian - <screeching> you infidel, how dare you reject the one true God. You're going straight to hell! </screeching>
Etc. You can make the same sorts of examples for all of the biases I listed in my previous post, and countless more. The fact that you cannot recognize that they are two sides of the same coin demonstrates your disconnect from reality.
