$50 for the whole series is pretty good considering I paid dayum near that much for the first 3 DVDs.

And it's not the whole series, just the first season from the description, so there's bound to be more.

A very good series IMHO if you like gore/horror.

Wag: It did poorly in the ratings because it wasn't on until 2:00am on Sunday nights in Japan! This is an awesome series, but I too was a little disapointed at where they stopped the storyline (although you do know the ending...the first episode or 2 was actually the ending).

4 disc set? Did they squeeze more episodes per disc for the box set?

I got the whole series (bought them individually as they were released) and it's a total of 6 discs.

Where did you read that it was a 4 disc set? The site lists it as only being 1 disc, but they clearly have not updated that information, because it also indicates the running time accurately at 625min. If I am not mistaken, I believe this will be a 6 disc release like the previous set released by Media Blasters, which is also available at almost $20 a disc individually.

Netflix has this listed as 6 discs, so I believe that's the correct #.
