Anker 5 port charger - ? about amps

I'm thinking of getting one of these to put on my desk next to my computer:

I routinely charge the following:

iphone 5s
iphone 4
ipod mini
android (older)

My question is a bit silly, but I'm not an electrician so I don't know the answer. If you plug in a device rated for charging at 1.5a into a 2.1a port (or vice versa), will everything still be safe? (and no reduced battery life, etc)? I assume the only difference will be charge time.

Yes. Your device will only draw as much Power as it needs. In your scenario it will draw 1.5a even though it's connected to the 2.1a port

These were on sale for $15.99 a couple days ago; I ordered a pair.

I already have an Antec 5-port charging unit (http://www.amazon.com/Antec-Quad-Cha.../dp/B009KY5JA8), and I'm very satisfied with it. But unfortunately the price jumped on that one from $22 to $27, so I went with the Anker unit this time around.
