Thank you, Mr. Gruber. If the polling company does this 'all the time,' for what purpose would they have to be told to select more persons of color and fewer old people in Florida in order to 'maximize what they get' out of their polling?

It seems like they're targeting groups that they expect to vote Democrat. Which doesn't make sense unless it's an attempt to measure their outreach efforts but that wouldn't be media polling would it?

So can you explain it to me or are insults your best effort?

fskimospy actually beat me to it. Look above.

You act as if getting a sample that isn't representative of the population is a new problem in statistics. It isn't. I still haven't advocated for altering the sample. So, you're still wrong and now I've told you that you're wrong an additional time. As you can see, despite my best effort you're making no progress.

I'm actually more surprise that you seem to be smart enough to understand what some of these terms mean, yet for some reason can't figure out that you've been duped by personal faith in the kind of sources your prefer. I'm guessing to some degree you know that they're not exactly staffed by much of a brain trust, but also realize that thinking about the matter further would precipitate a falling house of cards.

So they presented an unrepresentative sample as representative? Again I ask, why do this if the goal is accurate data?
I actually read quite a bit about this whilst arguing with Eskimospy about it. Turns out that correcting purely for registration based on your projected likely voter makeup is on the wane. Some still do it, but not nearly as many as did even back in 2008. Apparently, people lie to pollsters - if you are a registered Democrat and hate Hillary, you are likely to claim to be a registered Republican and vice versa. (You can generally tell those who do not attempt to correct for party registration; they no longer ask if you are a registered Republican or Democrat, they ask if you generally consider yourself or identify as a Republican or Democrat.) Serious pollsters now more often try to get more detailed demographic information on the idea that if they weight their responses to that information based on their likely voter model, they will generally get a more accurate weighting of Republican voters versus Democrat voters. Ironically, this is because past polls tended to overstate the Republican turnout.

You've always been a known spewer of ignorance to be honest, you need to live with people calling you out on it if you continue to do so.

No Democrats are defecting to Trump in droves, other than in your mind.
It's weird, with people who I know in real life, it's almost exclusively lifelong Democrats supporting Trump rather than lifelong Republicans supporting Hillary, whereas seems to me that nationally it's the reverse. But I'm in ultra conservative Tennessee where I'm considered a wild-eyed foamy lefty, so YMMV.

the thing is, it doesn't make sense to say they have the deleted emails because if they have the deleted emails, they have all the emails. So they would have just said, we would release all the emails from her server not just the deleted ones.

Having access to deleted e-mails was just inferred.

The whole statement from the FBI has been innuendo from the start of when it was done, and bad form considering the timing.

Comey is in Swift Boat mode ?

It really appears so.

Correct. I mentioned that same thing before if they have the deleted emails, they should have all of them. Any intelligent person would know that they were full of bs but the OP isn't very intelligent and it's a lot of fun to call the OP a retard.

No one cares at this point about "stuff" and they shouldn't care.
So much shenanigans going on both sides this last week.

MSNBC is reporting tonight that new actual voting stats from Florida early voting, to be officially released Wednesday am 11/2, shows of republican votes casted that 28 % are crossing over for Hillary.
And less than 1% of democrats are crossing over for Trump.

We hear both sides of this trending information that first one side is ahead and then the other side is ahead, but if this is true that 28% of republicans are actually crossing over for Hillary then Donald Trump is not only doomed in Florida, but any chance for Trump at the presidency is totally doomed.

I find these latest stats from Florida amazing.
If this is not only the trend for Florida but also the nation wide trend, proving that enough people despise Trump and just will not support him, then Hillary will indeed have a nation wide sweep.
The senate will definitely go democratic and the house could follow.

We don't know....
We won't know unit next Tuesday.
But not only are they saying that 28% of republicans are crossing over for Hillary, they are also saying that by 8pm EST next Tuesday evening we will know that Hillary has won.

MSNBC is the only, as far as I can tell, the only source reporting this.
That not only are 28% of republicans crossing over for Hillary, but that Trump has already in fact lost Florida.
And the minority vote is way up compared to 2012, with democrats holding solid behind Hillary.

Jump on over to MSNBC.com and check this out for yourself.
TargetSmart CEO Tom Bonier shares with Lawrence the results of a new Florida Early and Likely Voter survey, which show Clinton winning a staggering 28% of Republican early voters.

It will be very interesting after this all is said and done next Tuesday, to see who was correct in predicting and who was wrong.
Will Hillary win in a landslide?
Will Trump pull off an Brexit surprise?
Were the polls even nears accurate?
Is Donald Trump's true base capped at 38%?
Will emails matter?
Will womanizing matter?

I guess we'll all just have to wait it out.....
But if Hillary does win in a landslide, those Trump supporters can forget about rioting or yelling fowl.
No one is going to pay them any attention when they lose big time and act like whiny little brats.

I for one am shocked that this turned out to be bullshit.

It never ceases to amaze me how easily duped some people are.

There are plenty of Bush supporters remaining in the GOP, they probably would vote Hillary.
Interesting report... we'll see in a week if it's any more credible than this topic.
