wow... What is your initial setup when doing that? I tried something like that, and they couldn't kill them fast enough... So I was losing citizens before I could make any decent money.

Build the lower left tower first, back it with another nature tower.

Upgrade the bejesus out of the lower left tower. Don't build ANY more than that until it's comfortably mowing down everything before the second turn.

Did the bottom row of 4 fire when the dots were going along the top parallel stretch? If not I'm thinking maybe we should raise that row up just enough to make that happen so they continue their fire.

No, they don't. If you move them up though, you lose the ROF bonus for being in line. But as always - it's worth a shot. Try it and post back

Ya, I basically copied this exactly and got to 83 as well - just a hair from squeaking by to 84 (one made it in I think).

I tried a couple of variations, like an ice tower at the bottom of the first stretch. He gets a long time to fire on the straightaway, but I end up a couple of nature towers short, so it didn't help and I only got like 81.

There's either a completely different strategy or this is as good as it gets.

I couldn't get anywhere close to a mega flower tower thingy...

Umm I didnt do anything special to place the towers above the entrance... it is a playable area, i didnt have to use any cheats to do so.

I also built all of my towers legit, no cheating.... no money or hacks.... not sure what your problem is.

Plus Ive gotten to 81 and 82 before without placing "above" the entrance. Keep on trying.

i tried the game that gives you 60mm dollars and jacked up towers, i lined the map with flower towers and green towers, at somewhere near level 180, even if you filled the map with the most powerful towers, they still break through

At 80, you probably lost by letting one or two through for a few levels. At 84/85 you lose the level after the first guy gets through as your defenses just get overwhelmed by health increases. There is quite a bit of extra cash from killing all 10 guys over those few levels. Also, noone has determined whether or not there is a bonus for killing fast and your strategy doesn't kill fast.

Yep, two in a row now. It's tough but not extremely hard.

I hate it how the computer gets more points than you do on a win. I got 6 balls past him and the final score was 292 me to like 600 him

Computer gets 40 points to your 20. The trick is to angle the ball toward the corners without hitting the side walls. I started playing this game a couple of years back and can beat the computer fairly consistently now I think my high score was 499.

Did they update or is there something wrong with firefox for the tower game? I can't build towers above the entrance at all. there is no "grass" as the tunnel that the balls come out of opens at the top of the flash image.

Dude, you can't put guys at the top like that - the game doesn't give you room there without modifying it.

83 is still the maximum, as discovered by M4H (and successfully copied by but not improved upon by me) without modifying the game.
