Clinton almost bowed and the NYT gave him a tongue lashing. What exactly does this full out bow along with the bow to the king tell us about Obowma? IMO, it shows he is weak and wants the US to outwardly appear weak/meek. Exactly the wrong message IMO.

This photo will get Democrat President Obama a lot of approving nods in Japan this weekend, especially among the older generation of Japanese who still pay attention to the royal family living in its downtown castle. Very low bows like this are a sign of great respect and deference to a superior.

Unfortunately it is.

Here is the reasoning:

When you bow to someone that low you show you are inferior to them. That is the perceived notion that goes on here. Even if the Saudi King or the Japanese person had bowed back, the fact that he bowed low shows to them that their leaders are superior to ours.

A sign of respect would be to shake the person hand then bow ONLY low enough to see eye to eye, which he did not do at either time. This is what the Democrats tried to say he did with the Saudi King which was a lie. But hey, to each their own I guess.
