Another child molester/serial killer?

A 17 year old high school senior went missing about a week ago, they found her body a couple days ago and arrested this guy on Sunday in connection with her disappearance. They think he may have had something to do with the disappearance of a 14 year old girl named Amber Dubois in February 2009. She disappeared in the same area but she was never found.

The court of public opinion certainly seems to think he's guilty. "On Wednesday morning, the garage of the Gardner family home in Rancho Bernardo was spray-painted in red with the message, "Chelsea's blood is on you. Move out."" Of course, they found the girl's underwear with blood on it, and Gardner's DNA was on it. Pretty damning evidence if you ask me.

More news came out this morning that neighbors reported teens coming and going from his apartment all the time. I guess he had kids over to play video games at his place...creepy.

Honestly, how many children do we have to lose until we realize these people are fucked up. Either castrate them or hang them high.

True, he definitely looks guilty as hell. I added that detail to my OP.

Really? The articles I read said 6 years was the sentence recommended by the prosecution as part of his plea bargain. A court-appointed psychiatrist recommended more, because the guy wouldn't admit to the crime.

I'm 46 and I still don't get why these guys aren't in prison for life or executed. F-n liberal judges give them light sentences and let them out early. My guess is that they would not be so lenient if it were their child or grandchild. In favor of "Mob Rules" in cases like this.

Not surprising.
The woman who took money for strangers to have sex with her 5 year old was released on bail. Even though the kid died as a result. She now is at home without house arrest or anything for the next two months until they start the trial.

In S.C. white collar over $5k used to be 10 yrs and must serve 80%. Don't know if it still is. That was ~10 yrs ago when an employee got the company for $12K.

This case is unreal and hopefully brings about changes. This dude had already been convicted of sexual assault of a minor, and then released and went on to rape and kill two more women, and attempted rape of one more (she got away.).

It costs a lot to keep people in jail. It costs so much more to let the wrong ones out.
