Revolutions are generally violent & bloody affairs when the existing power structure doesn't crumple like a house of cards. And there's always a lot of confusion about who killed who when, not to mention that revolution is basically an invitation to foreign meddling, due to the creation of a power vacuum.
It's really entirely too early to make any sort of declarations about what the future govt of Libya will be. That's really true of Egypt and Tunisia, as well. Time will tell.
In the meanwhile, there will be a lot of jockeying among the factions & efforts from the outside to support or suppress them, until such time as the new Govt can provide basic services, one way or another.
It's also very difficult for people lacking a history of democratic self rule to make the compromises necessary to create a unified govt of the people. Hell, that's increasingly difficult in this country given the anti gubmint ravings so common on the Right... and the pandering they receive from their own leadership.
