Indian is not a race. Or even an ethnicity. If I said Punjabi or Tamil, then you can at least make somewhat of an argument that I am being racist.

You'll notice how I put "national origin" into parens in the post you responded to. That makes most of your reply moot. And it doesn't really matter what kind of bigotry it is, does it? Saying, the fact that you were raised and educated in India explains why you're dishonest is a bigoted remark. You're saying that honesty or dishonesty isn't a function of the individual, but is generalized across certain cultures and nationalities.

Doesn't really matter if it's racism or another form of bigotry, does it? What you call Islamaphobia is dislike of a religion, not a race, but it's still bigotry. Why is dislike of a nationality or culture OK?

Thug, a common criminal. Which is what these people are. They attacked the state, sought and received assistance from nations AGAINST the state, have attacked civilian infrastructure AND killed and tortured civilians, and have already indicated the allocation of state resources to those that have enabled them to be in power.

You know what's hilarious? Routan started off posting on P&N with a thread entitled "A Muslim Perspective." He tried to come off as the persecuted Muslim who's views are not as extreme as Americans make them out to be.

Over the past year he's basically revealed him to be a caricature of an Islamist. He hates the West, he hates free speech, he hates India, he hates anyone who doesn't roll over to Islam. One might almost think he's a conservative poster trying to make Muslims look bad.

But unfortunately I think he is a real Muslim and that his views are not that uncommon. A recent story (that I almost posted) shows that 10 years later Pakistanis don't really believe basic facts about 9/11. They are on another planet and it doesn't seem like there's even common ground to negotiate understanding.

My guess is that they are the people that was benefiting from his regime and are liable to be tried in court under a new regime. All those dictators need a certain critical mass to subjugate the rest of the population.

I think much the same. Not specifically about routan, but about so many like him. They want the Islamic world held sacred and off limits to infidels, preserved as the pristine honeypots Islam's leaders have created, but insist that Western lands and freedoms be extended to any Muslims who wish to avail themselves of them.

And then... When Muslims reach some critical mass in some particular portion of the West, they wish to "Islamicize" that portion by implementing Sharia law, etc.
