Well, there's at least one group (specific minority) that has been complaining all along for decades that this has been happening to them. And the rest of us haven't started listening until now. Whereas I used to scoff at these complaints, I am now beginning to firmly believe them.

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.

Didn't noticed they tased him at the beginning too. Had his hands spread, then they tased him. You can see him flinch and then put his hands behind his back and then back out. He was trying all he could to show he was surrendering. He couldn't be much clearer as to his surrender unless a white flag raised out of his ass hole.

Why aren't they protesting this police tyranny? Haven't heard a peep from them.

We have been deluded into thinking votes carry power, but they don't. Truth is that folks really don't have the much power (vote or other), otherwise we wouldn't be seeing this behavior as much. I also note that for everyone of these situations caught on camera, there are many many others. Isolated incidents my arse.
Not seeing any easy solutions given the current tenor of citizens vs government agencies. Line up as ordered or get steamrolled please. I think i'll line the fuck up thank you very much.
Hopefully cameras become so ubiquitous to the point where having any witness to the crime = video evidence.
One downside to this is that prosecutors will eventually do nothing without video evidence. This is good and bad.
Bad situation. You were mugged in the street and somehow a cop was nearby and arrested the guy who mugged you....the guy may come up with some crazy defense and say he arrested the wrong person. Oops, no cameras or camera wasn't pointed right direction. No prosecution. Since eyewitness/verbal testimony is now worthless, video evidence is all that matters.
Good situation. You and the cop actually point out the wrong guy who mugged you.
I'm not trying to say video evidence isn't powerful, it's extremely powerful, but we have to be careful about trying to get rid of the fact that overall we should trust a truthful and honest person.
