oh, and someone just report him to ebay/paypal so that they can suspend/lock his account. Ebay would be better off w/o this person.

It's kind of like you going to the store to buy something. When you use your credit card, the merchant could ask for 3% more to cover their fees. However, they can't and they have to build the fees into the cost of the item instead.

Additionally, most of the forums that I post on do not allow sellers to ask for PayPal fees. If they want to recover these fees, they have to build them into the sales price.

However, I find it funny that you still think you've done nothing wrong - and, you'd go as far as re-listing the product, just to sell it to someone else. Silly. Just plain silly.

If you go to a fast food restaurant, and you want to use your credit card, they'll charge you 75 cents. So that's not illegal now?

Fast food joints charge a .75 CC fee? Where, I've never been charged any fees using cc at fast food.

Me neither. I have lived all over in the military, and I have never been charged a fee like that.

Why are you so stupid? It's both hilarious and frustrating trying to reason w/ a stupid person such as limsandy.

Do you understand that just b/c you wrote something on ebay doesn't make it legal? Sure you put down "paypal fees are added, etc"...that doesn't mean the buyer has to pay for them.

2nd, you stated that you "didn't" know. Fair enough, some people don't know all the hidden rules, so maybe this was true in your case. HOWEVER, you continued to act and still act like a DICK to the people here. You continue to prove your stupidity by saying something along the lines of "well, if he didn't want to pay for them, he shouldn't have bid, WAH WAH WAH *TEAR* *SNIFF*"

3rd, YOU SUCK AT SELLING ON EBAY. PERIOD. What kind of unprofessinoal asswipe says "mmmmm....i MIGHT ship tomorrow." YOU DICK! GET OUT OF EBAY, YOU MAKE IT SUCK FOR THE REST OF US HONEST BIDDERS/SELLERS!

x2! This is exactly the type of person I hate dealing with on eBay. Why people can not just suck it up and admit they screwed up is beyond me...

OP: It is $6, you are wrong, even if you knew it or not, ship the damn phone and apologize to the buyer. Not only that, but you are painfully unprofessional and it came through here. You also made yourself look like an idiot. After you last post, it is likely that no one is going to care if you apologize or not. Maybe you are just so ignorant that you do not know enough to know that you do not know. Congratulations.

When Pick Up Stix opened here last year, they charged 50 cents if you wanted to pay with a credit card. That lasted about a week.

BINGO! Besides the fact that you were cleary WRONG (wether you knew it or not), had you said the above, you'd probably have your $6 and the guy's phone would be on it's merry way.

But you didn't. You were an a$$ (on top of being wrong), then tried to get some sypathy, which puts you were you're at now. Still an a$$, short $6, and still has a phone to deal with (ooh! and pay listing/final auction value fees on again!).

Your right about one thing ebay is full of asshole and most are sellers. Ebay is what you get when you combined trailer parks and AOL.

There you go again. . .

You're still acting like you're the one doing the buyer a favor when it's really the other way around.

Also, how do you expect the buyer to know how much to add for a Paypal fee when you don't state what the fee is?

From the auction:
  • If you are paying with Paypal, please dont forget to add paypal fees to the total amount. Shipping is free throughout the continuous 48 states of America. Email me with any questions regarding the phone at limsandy@yahoo.com Good luck!

I didn't know that charging paypal fees were against the rules. If buyers charge shipping and handling to sellers why can't I charge paypal fees? I've seen a set of 6 colored pens sell for $5 and $15 shipping and handling. And I'm talking about regular pens, not giant sized.

So, you know I was against the rules but if you have READ my item description, you'd know that I'd charge you paypal fees. If you didn't want that to happen, just don't fvcking bid on my item. As simple as that. There are hundred of other sellers selling the V300.

Let me come back to that: reading. I've told the buyer to send me paypal fees, but he just don't/can't read simple words like that. He preferred to just ignore my command and pretend like I'd ship the phone without him paying paypal fees. So he needs the phone ASAP? Well, am I reasonable to say that I need my money ASAP?

This buyer is clearly being dishonest when he lied to paypal that I tried to charge him $25 shipping and handling. I'm not selling my phone to a fvcker and I'm just going to refund his money. You think you'd get my phone huh? You think I'd kiss your ass and pretend nothing happen? Sorry, I'd rather pay another listing fees and sell my phone to someone else.

There's a lot to be said for having the courage to say, "Oops, I fscked up. Let me see how I can make this right."

You seem to lack that courage and instead you vainly attempt to defend your ignorance.

I bet the vast majority of people in this thread would have instantly forgiven you and respected you had you just admitted to screwing up and vowed to make the situation right.

Instead, you've just brought down more crap on yourself.

I refuse to trade or buy from anyone who mentions "If paying with paypal add 3% to your total" in their add.

Sorry, OP, but you are WRONG here. Besides being cheap to charge paypal fees, it is against the rules. Everyone who uses paypal deals w/ fees, it is part of the game. I too would complain about you. Your emails were ruder each time, and you are being a very demanding seller. You won't accept CC paypal on ebay? This isn't the forums, people expect to be able to pay as they choose. I'd rather take a $6 hit than lose my 100% positive feedback. Get over it.

The best thing to do is finish this auction in the quickest way possible. Ship the item, refund the money, whatever. Then, in the future, if there are paypal fees, add that money to the handling portion since you can put in whatever amount you want.

There are tons of people out there that make all their money from shipping. Every buy cell phone accessories for $1? See the $6 shipping? See the $0.43 postmark on the package? They just made $6.50 off an item they sold for $1.
