That was awesome!

I really wantt o take a course in driving like that. I know of 2 schools int he US, but both are about $2k for a weekend. Not that it isn't money well spent, but I kinda need it

WRC is awesome. I love the part of the guy with the lug wrench trying to tighten the bolt on the steering wheel as they are driving. LOL

Great recap! My favorite event this year was Germany, the place they picked works really well for an asphalt course. Lots of crazy hairpins while scaling inclines and those tiny claustrophobic roads cutting through thick trees were crazy.

Looking forward to next season - too many Peugeot 1-2-3 or 1-2 sweeps this year. They deserve it though, cars held up well through pretty much everything, and Gronholm is just plain good.

Yup. The SCCA holds rallies with a pretty broad spectrum of vehicle classes and they are also broadcast on the Speed channel if you happen to get it.

Thanks, Geno!! This is by far, one of the COOLEST vids EVARRRRR! I really dig Rally Racing...and Desert Racing as well. I find no thrill in the Trailer Trash sport of the USA; "NASCAR." I am sure it takes some measure of skill to drive round and round and round and round and round and round in an oval at 244 MPH. But MAN, look at what the Rally guys do!!! No turn is like the one before it. After this hill might be a kangaroo or 2,343 people in the road...or a brick wall. :Q

I get the biggest kick out of watching these guys wreck...holy crap man...some nice rolls there. Thank God for 5-point harnesses huh?

In realted news, did anyone see on ESPN yeasterday the clip of Jeff Gordon riding shotgun in a rally car? It went off the track and flipped life 5 times, and Jeff Gordon looked like he loved it.
