small
Around $138 for player and $111 extra if I want a 512mb sd memory card
http://www.apple.com/ipodmini/
4gb
and all the other qualities known to most people
around $350
(the prices are at my available locations, might be able to get the ipod in the US though at the usual $250 price)
I have never seen an ipod mini so I dont know how it compares to the normal ipod. Didnt like the normal one that much, was rather large but most of all it was very heavy and the internal hd wasnt realy that silent when it was spinning up. What I realy like about the ipod is the space, that way I could use it in the car and everywhere else for that matter without having to worry about running out of music. With the melodistick I realy like that its small, has an fm tuner and can be upgraded (first flash based mp3 player that I like).
For working out the melodistick has a clear advantage because of size and not having an internal hd.
