1. Churches weren't set up like that, but where do you find all people being equal back in the current setup of the Catholic church, let alone the setup from 1000 years ago or more?
2. They don't call it worshipping. There is a difference between not doing it and giving it a different name.
3. See 1. The Pope is human, and a senile old man for that. Yet his deranged ideas are what the Catholics have to follow?
4. Oh, lets try and presume he is a protestant and attack them! Too bad for you I'm an agnost. Protestants don't follow the bible either, but at least they didn't need crap like saints and a pope.
5. So it doesn't matter if traditions conflict with the book itself? "Oh, we traditionally raped choirboys, lets continue!"

And if you do not believe the Bible to be the truth that quickly changes. The Bible was written by men, and severely flawed even if you would look at it as a holy book.

Why did you start believing again? Couldn't go without a religion?

As I explained in my PM, it's not worshipping. You now are calling the pope a "senile old man" with "deranged ideas". Do you have any hard evidence to back that up? Oh..and what does "all people being equal" have to do with this argument? Granted, it's something else you can think of to complain about, but don't go in too many directions at once.

Oh, guess what...tradition doesn't conflict with the Bible.

You need to get something straight: What you see isn't always the official stance of the catholic church. If you read the catholic catechism, will you find anything saying that sexual assault is "holy tradition"? I think not! I could refer to this thread itself..police brutality. So, just because some police officers beat prisoners, does that mean it's the official position of the police department?

The Bible was written by men, inspired by God. Big difference from just "written".

You seem to have a "I won't listen to nobody" attitude, and I seriously doubt I'll be able to convince you to even try and understand what I'm saying..but let me ask you one question. How much time have you spent actually looking at what the church itself says, and how much have you read from "Catholic-haters unite" websites?
