Same thing with the ACA - If you have say - some stomach issues, and you go to a stomach doc, you're going to pay ~$200 for a simple assessment - that doesn't include any lab tests, prescriptions, etc...
Sure, you can go get a "check-up" in which the PCP will then say "You should see a <insert specialist doctor>" - and like I said, it will be $200+ for the shit ACA high-deductible plan - which (as stated earlier) doesn't include any additional tests (X-Ray, MRI, blood test, etc... etc..)
That doesn't sound preventative to me. Plus the whole "in network" vs. "out of network" game - have fun with that with an ACA plan - the doc will be in network, but all the labs will be out of network and they will bill you $500. Does that sound like a solution? Everything I just said isn't far-fetched, because I guarantee you it's something that I have run into in life - and I would think you as well have run into this at some point in your life.
@PixelSquish
You starting to get my point? Zero points, no arguments, no debate - just simple assertions and useless banter. Like a child having a hissy fit. I would honestly hate to see how pathetic his life is given his responses on an anonymous forum all day - but if you can't see this as a VERY clear example of what I'm talking about, then there is simply no hope for you. People like myself are willing to come to the table and discuss, debate, and reason - and the other side just wants to make snowflake jokes like I'm raging and beating my desk right now or something. It's like this forum is turning into 4chan.
