Bigger, question, were you guys racing, formally or informally. those 5.0's are still pretty potent if you take care of them...
informally. we were at a stoplight. i took off fast, not because i was trying to race him, but because i was late for something. he must have thought i was trying to race him, because i saw him pull from light normally at first, then gain hard. so, i slowed down till we were equal, about 35mph. went from 4th to 2nd. he had ram air intake bodykit, etc, yes it was 5.0 or LX made to look like it (fascia is different for lx and gt) but seeing how he had ram intake i really think it was 5.0. anyway, like i said, downshifted to 2nd, and my car really pulls on 2nd-4th, i knew that, and so i stomped him till about 80, i was about 1.5 car length in front of him. started hitting 90 mph, and there were cars around him and he couldn't maneuver, so he got stuck. i was late so continued on my way going 90mph. for the car he had it wasn't even a close race for my stock prelude si.
