You know, that post is pretty damn convincing. It's hard for me to believe it was created by someone with English as a second language - e.g a Russian. It is so convincing, in fact, a few hours after I read it in this forum I started to wonder if I hadn't received something like it myself and I went through all the emails I've gotten purportedly from eBay. I'm satisfied I never got this, but you must admit, it's a clever scam. But dig - I agree 100%, it's nasty and assuming they take advantage of people who fall for it, it's lowdown and despicable.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the morale of this (if you can call it that) is that before devulging any sensitive information at a site, any site, such as password, credit card number or anything else you want at least somewhat private, you should glance at the Address field in your browser. Isn't it true that they can't fake that???
