generally i agree... the kirkland branded stuff is usually pretty good too

however, i think the meat selection (specifically steaks) are better at sam's club

anything kirkland brand is usually better than member's mark

sams beef and pork are better though

costco is the only one that carries cheap fresh trout

costco pharmacy is cheaper than sams

costco may have long lines for a time but they respond really fast, adding more lanes and employees as needed

Kirkland brand is a hit or miss. For examples:

Kirkland Tequila, supposedly made by the same non mass produced distillery that produces some great tequila brands. It goes down smooth, yes. It has that nice burn afterward, yes. But it tastes nasty, like tequila that's been aged with a pair of used socks.

Kirkland diapers, supposedly made by Huggies. Huggies works great, with a virtually zero failure rate. Kirkland has like a 3 out of 60 leakage rate, which for me is completely unacceptable.

Kirkland baby wipes? Why would anyone want baby wipes with tiny little holes in them?

Kirkland batteries....great value! Get them.

Kirkland vodka? It's good. Hard to screw up vodka though.

With that said, Costco is generally better than Sam's. Costco is more consistent from location to location. Sam's varies, sometimes greatly.
