How low will this sink, we're not even 6 months into his Presidency. I really don't know what to say other than why does her face lift have anything to do with an interview, what was the President trying to accomplish?

"She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!" the president wrote.

He actually said yes, according to accounts of their meeting. Trump, Scarborough and Brzezinski mingled with guests and had a private chat.

For the record, photos from Mar-a-Lago do not show any blood or bandages on Brzezinski's face.

Given that the people who support him love this stuff it won't matter. How many times have GOP leadership had to come out and say what he has said and done is inappropriate, beneath the office etc...? Yet they will all continue to support him.

How many times did anyone have to come out and say what Obama, Bush, et al have said was shameful and beneath their office?

Trump is an embarrassment to the country. Who has ever heard of the leader of a democratic country engaging in such childish behavior? Yet this is happening with such frequency that we are becoming numb to it. It is the new normal. I'm sorry to say that it has lowered the bar for political behavior in the country, and this lowered bar will impact future behavior of others besides Trump himself.

Trump is a degenerate. It's an accurate assessment of him. He's the sort of person you call a piece of shit. The fact that evangelicals support this degenerate should tell you all you need to know about them and their 'faith'. There is not much structure to the evangelical denominations, they are largely radical groups with no structure.

I look on them as the western taliban. Enacting their violence via oppression through politics against others; women's rights, other religions, gays etc. Trump is perfect for them; a hateful degenerate disconnected from reality.

You know, there is a legitimate excuse that Trump's followers could give for his tweet:
"It's time we as a nation did more to talk about mental illness, and it's impact on families and in the workplace. Aspberger's and Tourrettes are no laughing matter...No mental illness is. It's time to stop making fun of those who suffer these illnesses and start getting help."

That might give me pause, but then I'd have to think about these real victims of these illnesses and how many would hate to be associated with Trump.

Yeah, I linked that in another thread. I still find it amusing that "idiot" is far and away the top word association with Trump. For me it would have been liar or narcissist.
