I dunno about that model, but I have an enermax dual fan PS and it's not the quietest thing in the world. Typing on the keyboard is louder though. Supposedly Antecs are quieter than what I'm using anyways.

btw, dual fan PSUs are very common these days. All the good ones have two fans now.

Is their order form not a secure site?

I was about to enter my credit card number, and I notice that the site isn't secure. I place a call to Antec for their online division and got a voice mail.

* +5V and 3.3V combined output: 180Watts max.

too bad, 180w watt won't cut it for serious ocers.

I cant seem to find much out about this model but it sure is a Heckuva lot cheaper than most of their components! Only $6.92 shipping too.

Here is what one reviewer said: "Well this was definitely a decent purchase, I can?t say much negative about it. The unit performed much better than the cheaper SunMaster KC-350 which would have definitely blown if we had attempted to connect half the stuff we connected to the Antec PP352X. All in all I was very impressed with the PSU and although it lacked the cable shielding found on the same priced EG365P-VE from Enermax. In the end, it performed well, its competitively priced and is a perfect fit for this system. I am giving it a perfect 5/5 and our Editors Choice award. For its $50 price tag you really can?t go wrong here. Kudos to you Antec!"

And here is a quote from Tom's Hardware:

"Here are two power supplies that are loaded for bear. The Antec PP-352X and Enermax are two fine examples of high quality power supplies. Both the Antec PP-352X and the Enermax feature a two fan design along with big heat sinks. They both weigh a ton when compared to some of the cheaper power supplies. Both power supplies are Intel/AMD approved and feature the Intel Pentium IV connector. Expect to pay about triple the $15 that you would pay for the "El-Cheapo" power supply. "

I hope the above helps people...

Came out to a little over $41 shipped to California. Woulda done it for $30, but $41 was just too much. $41 is warm for this PSU.

12V and 5V is generally used to power your peripherals like CD-rom, harddrive... 12V exclusively power your modern CPU. Mobo, vidcard, and other cards use 3.3V and 5V. Read up more in the case and cooling forum for more details.

HI All

I would think twice about buying a power supply that didnt have at least 220 watt combined on the 5v and 3.3 v rails. I think that is the new amd requirement.

Hmmm... Anyone know how quiet this is compared to the True power series? I need a good PSU for my brothers computer, but I don't want something all that loud.

Yes, it's louder than TruePower, but not by much. I think that it's a pretty darn quiet PSU for its class.
