Missed seeing this thread for a while.

TungFree:
Not sure what size drill I used. I just grabbed what looked to be the thickness of the threaded part of a case screw (so the head doesn't slip the drilled hole). So I used regular case fan screws.

As for a 120mm, that would require not only drilling the case holes screws but extra vent holes to make full use of the 120mm size. There is room to do it, and if I ever pop an Athlon in that case I will, but I think the 90mm in front plus the 3DFXcool hhdHO drive cooler sucking in with the 80mm rear and 80mm PS fan should keep things pretty good for a Celeron. I just went the easy route that allowed me more cooling than normal, besides I had the 90mm sitting around doing nothing.

For the fan-impaired.. which size fan and how many would I need for the Antec KS 282 w/ 300 Watt PS? And how much drilling, cutting etc is involved in installing (hopefully little to none)? Thanks!

about that small box fan idea... not the best. been there, done that. things got weird for a while until I moved the fan at least 1.5~2 feet away. that sucked because it was right under my feet at that point.

now I'm going with the antec 92mm blowing on the the cpu. sooo much more footroom that way

stingygrrl, i have the same antec case. you'll need 2 80mm fan. one for the front and one for the back. I ordered 2 from outpost, got the same lame email saying it's back ordered. my setup right now, has two 92mm sunon fan. being held up by a wire, looks really unprof, but it works. plus, it's too loud.

if you have no way to mount the fan..use super-glue...works well but make sure it is set before use..also mount a saftey line to it...just in case.

Stingygrrl:

Rear fan has a domed grill so you are stuck with the 80mm recommended.
In the front you can put a 90mm if you are willing to drill 4 holes for fan/case screws. I did that, worked great. There is room for a 120mm, but more drilling is nescessary to get the benefit of it.
