Got a case (sonata 2) from a friend that was missing its drive rails and entire front cover because they had been broken. So I asked antec if I could buy these parts from them after explaining the case was damaged after being thrown out a window and instead they just sent me the replacement parts, for free. I didn't have to pay a penny even after explaining the case had been thrown out a window, causing the damage.

Just thought that I should give them some kudos. (I don't work for antec)
They also have b-stock products (slk3000b) which are half the msrp price. The 3000b I bought was supposed to have blemishes, but it was perfect and was shipped in 1 day from Cali to Washington.

How long does it take them to send you back a PSU? They received my POS SmartPower yesterday...

Yup.. three or four years ago I called Antec bc I wanted to upgrade my front USB ports from USB 1.0 to USB 2.0. To my surprise they sent me the part absolutely free

They're sending me a speaker for my case since my motherboard doesn't have one on-board and the case didn't come with one.

From my experience with an RMA of a SP500, takes about a month total including shipping both ways, but I am on the east coast and ground shipping takes a week each way. While it was fairly easy, I had to hound them a bit. And they took about a week after my UPS confirm said it was delivered before they could verify it was received.

Yeah antec has excellent getting things fixed. Few years ago when I bought my P160 case the LED temp display didn't work. They sent me a new one asap. I was happy with the experience.

Antec rocks. They are all I use for cases and PSUs. Depending on who you ask they are either wonderful or rubbish. Give them a try and decide for yourself.

Antec cases have always been high quality (if a bit on the heavy side) but their power supplies have only recently turned the corner when they switched to being made by Seasonic ... they are still far from my first choice unless I'm forced to buy a replacement in a big hurry from a B&M like Comp-USA, but the new Earth-Watts & slightly older NeoHE's are now at least acceptable.

Nothing but good things to say here either.

I bought a P180 when they first came out. I got the plastic side panels and door that were apparently really bad about bowing or arcing. I never had any problems with the panels until I moved recently. I would leave the heat off when I went to work and have the thermostat automatically kick up to normal temps about 30 mins before I was going to return home. Apparently the changes in temp caused the bowing effect to show up. I had one side panel bow outward so bad that it actually popped off the plastic tabs that hold it in the door guide.

Emailed Antec saying I knew about the replacements and I just recently started having problems, so I would like to order some. Had brand new panels and door of much better quality shipped to my house within days free of charge. This is about my 4th dealing with returns, exchanges or parts with Antec. Always quick to ship out replacements, always super friendly and prompt service from reps.

I'll probably never buy another case from another manufacturer just because of my experiences with their customer service.

I've always loved Antec's customer service.

My TP 480W Blue recently wouldn't boot my DFI RS482 mobo, and I wasn't sure what the problem was. Found a good deal on a Corsair 520W, which seems to be well regarded on this forum, so I purchased that and installed it. Mobo came up just fine - so the TP PSU was bad. Returned it to Antec and they promptly sent me back a replacement within the week. Granted, I was hoping for a Trio, but a brand new TP is now going into the third computer that's being built.

Antec completely dropped the ball on my PSU RMA, but I gave them another shot. It's been working okay so far. I'm still not convinced though.

Antec also dropped the ball on my PSU warranty (allegedly three years) in the UK, asking me to send it to Netherlands, no mention of covering postage which was half the cost of the PSU. Not a happy bunny, short story, they sell in the UK and offer warranty but dont have a service arrangement here which IMHO is unethical, people have a right to know this.

I am steering clear of Antec for that reason, just bought an nice Aplus Twin Engine case and am going Enermax for my next build.

Well the case got thrown out the window by my friend's dad. Somehow the power chords/ other chords got caught on the window sill and the case slammed against the exterior of the house. This broke all the optical drives and the entire plastic front cover. The steel case was only scratched a little on this Sonata II.
- somehow antec still sent me the parts within 3 days even after I told them it was thrown out a window. Amazing really....
- the purpose of this was to just acknowledge their good customer service on this occasion
