Antec Lanboy @ Frys = $80

well, saw it today at Sunnyvale Frys.

Lanboy aluminum case with Antec Smart PS, for $80. it was one of those red price tags so I'm guessing it's clearence.

don't really know if it's a great deal or not, it's $80 at newegg but shipping's $15.

I'm using this case right now and it's excellent. It's light, compact and I've experienced no heating problems so far. The PS is 350W, so I hope it's enough for a Radeon 9700 that I'm gonna get.

Hm.. not to thread crap, but I just read a review of this case on ocaddiction and they didn't like it very much. Said it was very filmsy and the cooling design was terrible.

i saw the antec sonata for 75 at the san jose frys. it had a spot in the ad too.

If you like Antec and want better cooling, try this case:

Antec with 120mm intake and output fans

It comes stock with one 120mm fan, but has a place for a second. It's a very nice air flow. And a pretty good power supply as well.

Same price as this Lanboy, just without the "cool" aluminum feature.

I ran a R9700 and 4 drives on a dell 250 watt PSU. I think this will manage

btw now it's a 2.8 C with 4 ram banks full and 4 drives, Audigy 2 platinum, and R9800 and still 250 watt PSU
I am switching to a thermaltake Xaser 3 case with a purepower 420 PSu but the case also has 12 drive bays... that I wouldn't try on a 250 watt PSU
