I bought the PC60+ thinking it was the last case I'd ever buy, but after building my C2D rig last month, I was simply amazed at how far along air cooling has come. 120mm fans are just insane in terms of how much air they push relative to their noise level.

The Nine Hundred with 7 x 120mm and a 200mm fan is much quieter than my PC-60+ with 7 x 80mm fans and airflow is a ton better as well. I used a few Panaflo (front, top and rear) instead of the Adda fans that came with it along with a couple of variable speed fans on the window. The front fans turned up to 2 weren't quiet by any means and the side fans would get pretty loud if I turned them up.

The Thermaltake Big Typhoon was what sealed the deal for me. I saw how quiet and efficiently it cooled and just knew the 80mm in my Lian-Li weren't cutting it anymore. If you get this case, you won't be disappointed with the move.

NaOH, I'm not sure what you're trying to do with all of those transactions, but you won't be able to get the rebate if you bought through BB. You will be able to PM though as long as you get back to your local BB before COB Saturday. This is still a great deal though @$89 no MIR, but another $25 just makes it awesome.

Wish I got that spot fan though, looks pretty neat and it sure would come in handy on top of my passive cooled over-heating NB.

I don't know if I can stomach all those rebates to save 25 bucks.

edit: alright, pulled the trigger on the online order, added that mcaffee software. sigh, time to return this beautiful case back to best buy =(.

I got the last one (not counting the display model) in the Latham, NY CUSA. The rebate receipts printed for both the 900 and the spot cooler. Pretty sweet for $65AR.

Not to "wee" on anyones parade here. And this is only my opinion.
But I picked one up at BB nonight, got it PM'ed and used the 12% coupon. Cost $85 and change total.

I currently own a Silverstone TJ06 Full tower case. I guess I never realised just how well built the Silverstone is.
The 900 feels so thin and flimsy to me. But it does look like it will cool very well. It's smaller than what I expected but looks like everything might cram in there.
I have 6 HD's, Evga 680i M/B, C2D E6600, 2 DVD burners, floppy drive, Zalman 9700 NT, and a Evga 8800GTX.

I am torn between Taking it back to BB, Selling it, Or just set it up to test how well it will cool over the Silverstone.

It does have nice curb appeal though and I mainly wanted it for it cooling ability, maybe it will grow on me.

Well, I ended up canceling my orders and picked one up from a compusa 30 minutes away (me and a friend carpooled). We each snagged one and there was supposedly one left at the store. I just finished swapping the parts over and all I can say is I love this case. Although it's a bit louder than my sonata, it cools a hell of a lot better. Before I'd get temps of 50C at full load, now I'm at 42C. Decent drop, maybe I can push this thing to 2.5-2.6 ghz ish =)

Ended yesterday COB unfortunately. ): You can still get a pretty nice deal if you PM to BB, their MSRP is $150 or $160 so with the 110% PM you get $89-7= 82+tax or something with no rebates.

That Silverstone looks pretty solid and I moved from a Lian-Li so ya, I can see what you're saying in terms of build quality. The Silverstone has some 120mm on it, so you won't see as much of an improvment in temps compared to my LL, but the extra front fan, 200mm exhaust and 120mm window fan will help temps a good deal where its needed the most.

With all of those optical/hdd and a GTX you probably won't be able to use the pass through fan. Still, the front fans dropped the temps on my Raptors significantly (50C to 30C). Also the side fan is truly awesome in terms of placement. Directly above my GTS (dropped temps from 80C to 55-60C) and also cools my toasty undercooled 650i NB. The 200mm should be right near your CPU and vents the system well.

I love the case though, its one of my favorite parts of my latest build. If you aren't super adverse to moving everything over, I'd give it a shot. I hate swapping mobos/drives too but this was a move that was well worth it. You should cut down on noise some by eliminating that 80mm and temps will be much better. If you don't like it you should be able to sell it here or Ebay for a nice profit. Taking it back at that price though is crazy.

FWIW,

I have this case as well. Upgraded from a Lian Li PC61.

Lian Li PC61 idle/load 42C/60C
Antec 900 idle/load 31C/42C

It's a HUGE difference having these 120mm fans running. I can actually feel the current flowing in addition it's pretty quiet.. granted the only things i hear are my Zalman and my 6800GT fan.

The only negative to this case is it's a PITA to install. Took me about 6 hours moving my parts from lian li to here (granted i took some time to blow the dust out of my parts finally)

I just may have to try it and see what I think. The Silverstone in prety loud, mainly because I keep the sides off most of the time tinkering with the ever so troublesome 680i.

But Damn nice looking case when sides are on.
Besides I need to pull it all out anyway to re-route the rats nest of cables from getting in a hurry to install the 680i.
No harm in trying it out since I have the damn thing just sitting here looking at me.

Oh and by the way, I am thinking of maybe modding it into a BTX. Looks as simple as drilling out a few rivits flipping it and screw it back together.

I'm thinking that PM'ing to BB should be easy, now that the MIR has completly expired...PM'ing to the $89.99...and they getting the 12% off...I mean geez, this thing is like $150 on the egg...

And I have a $15 BB gift card I could cash in

Just went to best buy. The CSR didn't let me use 12% off, saying that because the coupon stated "this offer cannot be combined with any other coupons or offers". She said that a PM was an offer.
Still got the case anyway, 90 dollars minus 35 gift card.
