I ordered the 3rd and it shipped today, this morning, apparently, by DHL. It's suppose to get here the 8th. I jumped on a deal over at the Hardforums on some Yate Loon 120mm fans, so I'll have more than enough for this case. Hehe.

It all depends on what you're looking for in a case. Lian-Li = light but not always that quiet. P180 = heavy as sin, but nice and quiet.

FAST! DHL/Frys/Outpost Free Shipping rocks in ohio! That 7.50 Tax was worth it

First impressions: 2 Green RoHs stickers on the sweet retail box P180B V1.1 NiCE WEiGHT!
It's COLD today and first opening of the front door the glue failed from one of the magnets in the door - pushed back in - no biggie!
Beautiful Quality! I must say WOW bec. I also have a LianLi alum. and this steel case is so study! Love the clear gromets and feet!
Not 100% perfect few minor blemishs on top/in seams on doors.. But hardly noticable.. So many nice touches!
The plastic side door connectors slide into metal, this must be for silence, I'll be sure to carefully remove these side panels each time..
My original LianLi PC-7 doors were worse bec. they're so thin they were noisey and fit was off! Mind you I only paid $70ish for this/it's their cheapest line..
The LianLi is only better in some less important ways - simpler layout - sharper look from the front with no door - feels more expensive bec. of 100% shiney alum...

The 3 fans that came with this thing are worth $45 - 3year warr. and it Smells Good!

Anyone order a Silver and get a 1.1?

I didn't say that they are all bad, but for 4 cases to have the same problems i thought i would say something. If it weren't for that i would have given the thumbs up. I am constantly changing parts out and i tend to move my pc around a lot so duability is a must!
Just keep it in mind so you don't have the same problem. A little extra care will go a long way.

To answer the version 1.1 vs 1.0 debate:

All P180Bs are version 1.1, so you don't have to worry there.

For the silver model, the v1.1 comes without the air duct inside, and says v1.1 on the barcode. If you have physical access to the box itself you can verify this. If ordering online it may be a different story. v1.0 has been out of production for quite a while now, so a lot of retail channels should be out of them by this time (a lot will depend on the volume of sales in your local retail stores as well). If you do end up with a v1.0 and have any issues with any of the parts that have been changed in v1.1 you can contact Antec customer support and they can help you.

Email customer support at customersupport@antec.com or Europe.customersupport@antec.com
Or online at: http://www.antec.com/newticket.html

Hope this clarifies things.

So who's going to cut rectangales in their's for better cable routing? Got mine all stripped down with no place to go.. ;p
Theory so far is to skip the very top and bottom chamber fans and repurpose them in the middle two windtunnel spots (on low) for board/ram/gpu cooling..
I might put the rear exhaust on med to keep the negative pressure up.. I was going to buy yate loons, but won't need them really bec. my OCZ powerstream 600w has
front and rear 80mm's out the back of the case, plus it's a whopper and sticks way over the standard atx mount, so removing the that pesky bottom chamber mount and fan
free up the space for now.. I didn't realize the bottom HD cage hold 4 drives vertically, so no prob leaving the middle cage open..

I thought the Lian-Li's with similar layout were far more expensive.

And it all depends on your def of "better."

Better fans? Better looks? Better weight? Better finishing? Better cable routing?

Cases aren't quite as clearly "better" or "worse" as other PC components.

Thanks for the info AntecCSR! Now, my only complaint about this case is that you guys should include a free P4 extender. Granted the location on my M2N-SLI Deluxe is the extreme top back of the board forcing me to route the cable taught over the video card, so it's not your fault... but still, it would have been a nice inclusion on your guys' part.

Great case, only took me two days to put the system together!

Same here! I got mine today, and I was expecting it tomorrow. For free ground shipping that's AWESOME, I got it in 2 days. And the 2 day shipping option was going to cost $36, so I'm really excited.

Ordered the 2nd, shipped the 5th, in Ohio the 7th, and still there on the expected delivery date (today). :/ DHL's end, maybe. I'll give it two or three more days. It's not like I'm waiting on it to complete the build anyway.

Nice deal. I paid something like $129 plus $35 shipping from ZZF a while back. These are really well made cases. Except for the door. I wish the little nub wasn't so easy to break off. My door doesn't swing all the way out now. Plus, my only other complaint is that there's only a area for the cables to go through. I had to work just to get the PSU cable to the mobo.

well, the silver is 1.0. Dammit, should have gotten a P180B. Anyway I emailed Antec like AntechCSR said. We'll see what happens.

EDIT: Well looks like I lost on my gamble. I can return the 1.0 and buy another one off the site, but if I do that I miss out on the rebate. Looks like I'll be keeping this one, still a sweet deal though.

It's here! I like it. Now to play the waiting game while prices fall on C2Duos, mobos, video cards, and RAM.

Well, I can confirm that the black P180B is a v1.1. I can also confirm that the plastic construction of the bezel area is fragile. It wasn't a good sign when plastic parts fell out of the box when I opened it. So it's back to Fry's a few hours after arrival.

Now I wait another week for a replacement. :frown:
