Got mine after it being shipped to the wrong place.

Good news is all is well with my 108B and I will be making the transfer from my SLK3000B either tonight or tomorrow night as my CPU was sent to the wrong place as well and no one was home to pick it up today.

Now I wait another week for a replacement. :frown:

You're one tough customer, were you planning on giving the bezel a kick every once in awhile or something? I see no reason to give up on this case for something as petty as that. I guess I went in expecting there to be quite a bit of plastic and being that my last case was a sonata 1 I am used to fragile bezel door's.

Anyhow I got mine today, there is alot of plastic but overall I'm digging it. Replaced all except the top vent fan with yate loon's and got my neoHE 550w PSU installed. Apparently they replaced the larger 120mmx38mm fan with a standard 120mx25mm tricool in the bottom compartment. The rubber on the PSU mount is a nice touch, although antec really should come up with a quieter way to mount fans besides just using screws.

Anybody want to buy some tricool's?

I was expecting plastic; that's not the problem. I just wasn't expecting it to arrive in little pieces.

I didn't mind some 5 1/2" bay covers being damaged; they mostly get discarded anyway. I just didn't like the frame being busted so that it would be exceedingly obvious every time the door was opened. I could have hoped that the plastic be a bit sturdier than it is. (Some plastic is really tough, but not what Antec used.)

I'm still getting a P180B--it's just that I have to wait for another to be shipped.

I have both these cases, and without question the 900 cools better. For some reason I cant figure out the air flow situation on the 180. It's a beatiful case though!

And since this is pretty much half the price of a Stacker STC (after rebates, or at least nearly), I think I may go for it.

The door can be opened to 270 degrees, which means you can place it totally out of the way if you like. There is a second hinge that is designed to move another 90 degrees that enables this.

Great case, a bit on the heavy side, but great - it fits my 8800GTX tightly, but nothing needed to be cut, removed, etc.

I just bought an antec 900 off a person... must... resist.......
arggg. nice find.
I need to buy a new graphics card, otherwise I'd jump on this if I hadn't already bought a new case :x. Only thing that turned me off was the weight (since I travel with my computer at least 3 times a year). 37lb is not fun to lug around.

thanks for the bump on this...I'm going to stop by Fry's on my way home from work and see if I can get it with the rebate w/o having to order it. I was in there last week and noticed they had a crap load of p180s...I think they are moving them out b/c of the new gunmetal antec case the p182 they had at the store.

Sweet, was waiting for this deal to come around again. Ordered one.

EDIT:

astrosfan315

I would have preferred to pick it up in store like you, but I didn't see the add in the sunday paper and didn't want to risk missing the online order or the Frys by me not having any unopen boxes. Especially since I didn't see the case in their friday ad.

I'm going to swing by there on the way home..if it's not available in store I'll post it. I live by the north houston Fry's. Anyway, I'll always be able to order it online if I can't get it at the store when I get home...if I have to do that though I hope they are not out. This really looks like a nice case to put my system in and keep quiet. I've been looking for a multi 120mm fan case to get rid of my 80mm fanned out case that's getting annoying.

no go in the store, internet only. However, they did have the antec nsk6500 or something like that for $79.99. It comes with a trupower 430watt pci-e ready psu. No rebates.

so I got that instead b/c I needed a psu also for my son's computer i'm building.

Don't expect to get the rebate. I bought one back in November, and just got a "unfortunately we could not honor your request because:

The UPC symbol is not valid for this promotion.

Today I called Frys and the customer service person said: "yes, they are good at that, fax us copies of the denial and the other forms and we'll help you out with that."

What a joke.... to hear a customer service rep say that! The police nowadays do little to protect us, or remedy wrongs... clearly it sounds as if Antec is screwing people. Imagine 1000 screwees = a third of a million dollars.... of theft. So expect to do some extra work, get a certificate of mailing showing date, and keep copies for when you get the denial.

Yep. The 900 is cooler but the p180 is quieter. The 900 isn't all that noisy with the fans set to low though. And the p180 isn't all that much warmer than the 900.

So, pick your poison.
