I love that it's just a classy silver box, and quiet too. Gonna be worlds better than my Aspire X-Dreamer.

From the description the case comes with only 2 fans instead of the specified 3 on Antec's site. Just fyi.

I noticed that on the description but I couldn't pass up on the good price...

it should be a full retail package though (new/sealed from factory) and thats probably a mistake or the third fan isn't pre-installed. Unless they got a bunk shipment from antec and thats why they are selling em at $106. I'll know soon enough I guess.

Mayhaps.

I just ordered from there, too. I haven't heard any complaints about the site's sale of the P180 on SPCR (which is where I found the deal, on backorder, 2 weeks ago.), so I doubt the case will be supremely gutted.

i could add one, i know i have one laying around but thats not the point. maybe i'll call antec and make them ship one. freaking case cost $140 and they can't even include a 5 cent speaker.

I suppose its not needed, but dont most case come with it anyways? Plus its useful when overclocking or for warning and what not.

I'm pretty sure that the difference in price minus the black paint is so that a portion of the money goes to sponsor the SPCR site. It's like a way of saying "Hey I like your case and what you and Antec did to bring this thing into reality, here's a small donation..."

If any of you are truly into silent computing or are even looking for just a tad less noise in your rig, that site will truly redefine the way you look at PC building from a silent standpoint. The rig in my sig is damn near inaudible and I don't exactly have to sacrifice much from a performance standpoint.

The P180 has just about everything that a silent pc enthusiast could want. That was the whole goal of Antec & SPCR collaberating on this. Although I personally don't have the money for one, it would definitely be my next case if I did, and the extra $30 is more than warranted for a site that really does put forth a great effort for silent enthusiasts.

Just got my P180 this morning (from a different store), and set it up. Absolutely silent, running 1 of the included 120mm fans on the lowest setting (I pulled out the fan from the power supply chamber, and the top one), a 92mm nexus on my xp90, and a zalman vf700 on my x800 (and of course, the evil little chipset fan on my A8N-E). Feels extremely well built and looks so much more attractive in person than pictures show

Question for those who got one:

It looks like the PSU sits right on the bottom of the case. How does this work with the preponderance of PSUs (including all of mine) that have intake fans on the bottom? Is there adequate space between the bottom of the PSU and the bottom of the case for air to flow in?

I really like this case. Sure, there isn't a window like my current case, but I guess it comes down to priorities: performance vs. cooling vs. awesomeness. Pick two!

The only bad thing is air might come back in through those vents holes that are designed for fanless PSUs. By having a bottom fan you are increasing the air flow from the back of the case into your system again, but the air flow is probably very small. Also having the optional 120mm fan on the bottom section would help out a lot, just leave it on the quiet mode and it shouldn't raise the noise one bit.
If it was me, I would block out the holes surrounding that PSU, but then it wouldn't look that great.

Yeah you can take the psu "cradle" out so that taping up the holes around is easy. Should remedy any problems with air being sucked in. Only problem I could see them causing though is sucking in the warm air your PSU is exhausting out, thus ramping up your PSU's fan or causing it to run a bit warmer. But nothing a little tape can't fix

If you read the review on the SPCR site, the vents around the PSU are for using a fanless PSU like the Antec Phantom so the lower chamber 120mm fan can exhaust some of the heat around the PSU.
