antec pp303x = abrupt resets?

my computer would restart all of a sudden and i thought the blorb on the chipset was taking too much power from the mobo 3pin connector so i got a converter to 4 pin and stuck it into the PS, and it ran ok... then, after a month of 100% stability (MSI ROCKS)it starts reseting... i then decided to put my old 250 in here and its been stable for 3 hours... before it would reset every 10-20 minutes...gay!
anyone else have trouble with antec pp303x? is there a solution? maybe something with the temperature sensor or something?

i would go for nothing less then my Enermax EG651P-VE.
This is a very good psu. Never had a problem with it.

I've been running my new 303x for 3 weeks now without any problems...

No problems here, I've been running the PP303X for about 6 months now.

yea, i read the other posts with hagbard, haha, what motherboard are u guys using? i think i specifically found something suspect... whenever i check the voltage sensors w/ the antec, i had around 4.8 for 5 volt one and 10-11 for the 12 volt one... i just figured my computer needed less than normal, but then when i put in the ol' trusty 250, i got 4.9 for the 5 and 12+ always for the 12 volt one... is this it? or is it a mobo PS conflict if that can happen...

edit: also noticed my taisol 733 fan even runs faster, before w/ antec i had around 4600-4800 but now i get 5000+ all the time with my 250...
how much can a 250w take? i have a duron600@998, 2 80mm + 1 92mm fans, blorb, and a fan on the geforce... isn't that a lot? gonna get another hard drive soon too...

Well, I setup an old case of mine as a temporary home for a mates system, and it ran fine with a Duron@1000, KT7, two HDs, CDR, DVD, one 120mm and 2 80mm fans on it, so I hope it's ok!..been running fine for a coupl've months now.

I'm seriously worried about the consequences when hag finds this thread....

The PP303x is a very nice PS. Either it isn't the PS or you have a bad unit, because the PP303x in perfect form is great.

I'm running an ABiT KT7 with a Duron 700 on mine. You can look at my rig for more details. Like I said, no problems at all with the PS.

what about the voltage sensor readings? for the 12v one... i emailed antec but i guess they don't take emails, told me to call, but i have school all day...

I have two machine at home with that power supply, the youngest is 5 months old. I have not had any problems with either of them. You may have a bad unit, hey it happens.
