Antec Solo $40 AR at Fry

Fry's perpetual Antec case rebate has rotated onto Solo again, and is lower than the last time around ($80 - 30). This is a better designed, constructed, and quieter case than Sonata (no PSU though). A virual twin of P150 (which does include a PSU) that Fry had for $110 - 50 rebate 2 weeks ago.

Bought the P150 a couple of weeks ago, but really wasn't satisfied with the color. Bought this one just now. Anyone wanna buy a brand new P150 (minus power supply)?

Nope. I filled out the thing to have it mailed. If enough people do it, they might fix the link.

Nope. I filled out the thing to have it mailed. If enough people do it, they might fix the link.

Fry usually fixes the rebate link in a day or two--just check back later. I requested to have the rebate form mailed on another product; it arrived 3 weeks later, and was not even the right one.

Anyone know if the B&M Fry's has a 30 day price gaurantee? Just bought one of these about a week ago. I know I won't get the rebate, but the in store pricing was $99 then. $20 is $20.

why don't you just buy another one, return the new case with the old receipt (if the old one was already used), and qualify for the rebate?

I e-mailed customer service requesting that they fix the broken rebate form download link.

Perhaps others interested parties should do the same and maybe they'll get it fixed today.

The B&M price this week at my local Fry's is $60 (no rebates). The linked online deal is much better.

back from Fry's empty handed. $60 no rebate is still a good deal though. I prefer the online deal so I just ordered it online. I will keep checking the rebate form. If you guys see it please save it as well just in case some of us forget. Thanks.

People with a Fry's near them should print that and go buy the case in-store while they can. With the $40 rebate, that can be HOT

that's how all Fry's Antec rebates are worded--they don't mean B&M stores only, online store is acceptable.

Antec Solo is da bomb! Very solidly made and well designed. Cool and quiet. The two downsides are no removable MB tray, and its heaviness due to the use of 1 mm (instead of the usual 0.7 mm) steel(which contributes to its rigidness and quietness, though).

You are correct about the store-identified receipt part.

However, my P150 rebate states "at Frys.com" in the top box and "Valid only at Fry's.com" on the bottom. I am concerned because the Sold rebate says "at Fry's Electronics" on top and "at all Fry's Electronics Stores" on the bottom.

What's the consensus on the rebate and online purchase?

EDIT: pulled the trigger. Just be sure to reselect free shipping before you submit purchase. Defaults to 2 day shipping, which costs an additional $40 for me.

I'd still say go for it, since they are advertising the rebate on the product link and on the front page.
