Ripped from FW (word for word, no less) unless you're also reb0rn over there, which I kind of doubt since this thread was posted an hour later....

Give credit where credit is due....

Good call.

I had a Staples gift check I wanted to use, so instead of the over-the-phone PM/coupon dance, I just ordered it at an in-store kiosk and paid at the checkout register. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stack a 2nd coupon (the 12% off customer appreciation promotion).

Now I need to spec out a new Athlon box... somewhat leaning towards an XP 2500+ Barton, but maybe I'll be a 1337 AT overclocker with an XP 2100+ or some other TBred B. Haven't built a PC in two years, so I'm relatively green.

Is the $15 off $100 I got in the mail today stackable with the $20 off $100 code I can get online?

I have an Abit NF7-S and I can't get my front firewire to work, either. I've hooked it up like it says, but for some reason it just won't work. Is a pretty cool case otherwise, though.

Wouldn't this be better? With a 400Watt power supply also. And the price $28.95 is pretty good. And shipping to MD is $13.

That case is going to be like tin.. very easy to bend and the power supply is worth what you pay (almost nothing).. Antec makes only TOP quality and their power supplies are among the best. If you want a cheap case to house a system you will never tinker with and will be out of the way most of the time (like a cheap server) then go with the compgeeks cases (although the power supply is still crap and should be replaced).. If you want dependable that will last forever and take a good amount of abuse (not intentional abuse, but I'm sure most people accidentally kick or bump their case from time to time) AND you want a reliable case with an EXCELLENT power supply then go with the antec.

About the looks, I personally like it and for my next system I will definitely consider it... Not that it matters but 3 of my 8 systems use Antec cases.. The others are either custom cases or else prebuilt system cases from my old computers...

Actually this case isn't really built for looks it's built for quiet those who have it know the drives mount on rubber feet for less noise. typically a 120mm fan pushes 2-3 times the air an 80mm does for the same sound. from what i've seen it comes with 1 120mm and there is room to put another blowing over the drives in front.
this is a well made case for those worried about noise. there are other prettier cases for those who care about that.
I wish I could use my amazon 15.00 GC hehe. </FONT>

OK, so I go to the in-store kiosk, and bring up the other site with lower price, and have a store employee look at that and PM to it, THEN somehow with the PMed deal go online, and apply this elusive coupon(that i find online?) to that? I don't understand how to get a PM, THEN apply an online coupon? or apply a coupon THEN get PMed to $20 less than the price they're PMing me to?

I seriously don't mean to be smart aleck, I'm hoping I'm missing something, because I REALLY want to get this deal.

Hot deal, Newegg.com had it $94.99 shipped, but then changed it 104.99 shipped. I am getting this case for my girlfriends computer that I am building her. Asus p4pe, 2.0 Northwood, 2 - 256 mb pc2700 sticks, 80 gb maxtor, and a black liteon 52. I have a 430 watt antec true power supply in my computer now and I must say these power supplies are whisper quiet. Nice case, good deal.

Just one.

You can mount a second 120 mm fan to the hard drive cage, but not to the front of the case where a fan is more customary. The included 120 mm fan is supposedly designed specifically for low noise; I'm not sure how it would compare to typical 120 mm case fans, or if it's cost-prohibitive to purchase a 2nd identical Antec OEM fan.

If you don't want to do the Staples (over the phone) pricematch + coupon dance, you can get this case for $96.89 shipped at Amazon.com.

I ordered mine at Staples in-store kiosk with a coupon, but no PM. I had a gift check I needed to use anyway, so my net out of pocket cost was fairly low (most gift checks cannot be redeemed at Staples.com web site). UPS delivered it within a few days tops. I won't be assembling the system until next week though.

I haven't decided if I care enough to get black external drives to (approximately) match the case color. The drives will be hiding behind the door most of the time anyway.
