Seems like the antec cases at staples are on backorder. Tried to order a lanboy last week, got a out of stock email. Tried to order a Sonata a couple days ago, got a call that it was backordered. Very hard to order any antec case from them.

Seems to show on there site that they have them in stock.

I've had one since they first came out. Good cooling and fairly quiet. I'm running with a Alpha PAL8045/Panaflo L1A and a Zalman ZM-80A on a Radeon 9500 (overclocked) with another Panaflo L1A on that. Everything stays cool, but the fans do spin up a little after intense gaming. At idle, it's quiet enough that I'd have to listen hard to hear it while sitting at my desk (3 feet from computer). At its loudest, it's still much quieter than my other average machines. The loudest part in my rig is the PSU fan, and people have had success swapping out a Panaflo M1A. I'd say don't bother with the second 120mm fan - it's too buried to be pulling air and just helps circulate the air near your hard drives, graphics card and CPU to avoid hot spots. I'm happy with it and recommend it.

This is a great price for this case. This case is awesome, no doubt about it. I knew about these cases well before this post. If you are not overclocking you only need the one fan, you will not need the other fan by the drives. In some cases, if you are overclocked you can still only have the one fan. Of course you are going to have a processor fan and even a graphics card fan/s as well. The Sonata fan is specially designed to be "larger" in size but with a slower RPM (revolutions per minuite), but efficiently moves the air (smaller fans=faster RPM, more noise). The slower Sonata RPM fans eliminates excess noise as well, not to mention their good quality. And the fan automatically does the temperature variation for the system.

A temperature check should always be done on a new case. Why install extra fans if you don't need them. One of my friends has excess fans in his case that are not needed on his Athlon system.
This case rated for a 3.0 Ghz. I would like a Pentium 3.06 with hyperthreading.

And the pullout drives, easy access, filter, quality power supply, rubber grommets, and the overall design is excellent! Antec makes good cases. Check the Sonata reviews and they will show that this is a good deal. Good post guys. I would pay over $100 for this case, easy.

Agreed, considering the PS alone sells for $7x.00 at Newegg!

I would guess it means that it has enough airflow and power to support the fastest processors available.

I've bought 3 of these cases and I must say they are nice.
The paint job is very sleek, it will make you want to keep a lint free cloth nearby to remove your fingerprints after touching it.
Downsides are that it only has one 120mm fan, the way they have the drive bay's for hdd's are interesting and thus prevent a front fan from being installed. If you don't overclock this case is for you, also allows to keep it extra tidy looking(with the way the drive bay's are stored), would like to see a window on this unit.
If you OC, I would steer clear.

Oh and the PS with this case is great! It's not one of the cheap sl series, it's actually a truepower if I recall correctly.

Disagree with comments about overclocking and this case. I have the case with the factory Antec rear-mounted 120 mm fan, along with a Vantec Stealth 120 mm fan mounted in the front. I have a Pentium 4 2.53 Ghz that I'm running at 3.4 Ghz in this case. I have increased vcore, vdimm, and vagp, and also have the memory and video card overclocked. A great case, the best I've every owned, and my wife loves it because you literally cannot hear it running unless you are less than a foot from the computer...

a good review, however I would like to have seen the author speak more about the power supply that comes with the case. The unique power supply has a larger than normal fan. It's made larger "but has slower RPM's" but it effectively moves the air, and at the same time reducing the noise level by being a slower RPM (larger size lower RPM fan, effectively moves air). These are special power supplies. And they are 380W. It also regulates itself for the processor on board. 1 of these power supplies is all you need for the main box, with the recomended CPU 3.0Gz. Not bad! (don't forget the other fans)

I first read about them in PC gamer magazine at my local Borders, they highly recommended them, as just about everyone else.

3.0 Gz compatiable that is about all I need for a case, nothing serious here. If a higher processor is installed I don't see why a scoop fan (check arstechnica review) couldn't be installed to further cool a higher CPU. I hear the scoop fans work great, and I would think they would be a great addition to this case. Or you could install a scoop fan to make sure your CPU is covered in coolness.

The arstechnica review was a little basic, there are some really detailed reviews on the net, I don't immedietaly have the links here.
